The jokes are funny bc uga has routinely had great recruiting and championship caliber talent but fell on their face repeatedly while all there rivals and neighbors claimed success uf bama auburn clemson fsu hell even gt did it while puga fell flat, it's not funny for aTm bc you guys haven't had close to championship caliber football talent in my life save for the last two years, essentially its the same reason it's not funny that arky mich st Syracuse and Minnesotas drought aren't funny.........irrelevancy

When Auburn, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia Tech all had one more recently. When you beat them like a drum, year in and year out. Its all they had left to hang on to and now that's gone.

I suspect the joke is fun for FL and TN since they have (or had) more recent Natties, but in all honesty, a National Championship is pretty rare- there are probably only 25 or so schools that have won even one in the last hundred years.
Good for GA. I hipe they dont start throwing around 1996 jokes or whatever year TN last won it. Making fun of a NC years later is about as stupid as making fun of Justin Verlander in 2060 for marrying Kate Upton- i mean, she’ll be so old and it will be 40 years since he last married the hottest woman on the planet.

I don't think I'd call it a "joke" - it was a troll, which is what this board does.
You have trolls trying to toss an * onto every Alabama title.
You have trolls telling LSU fans to stop living in the distant past of 2019.
You have trolls telling Auburn fans that Harsin will be lucky to sign 3* recruits.
Trolling is just what happens here. Yeah, you have shitty trolls, and you have some people jump into actually legit discussions with an almost pathological need to make those threads go down the same path, but those people also haven't had a lady touch their no-no parts yet so you can understand the frustration.
