this guy doesn't even notice the stylistic differences between Bama and LSU's defenses.

Bama builds their D around power

LSU builds their D around speed

obviously Bama will have more trouble with spread offenses than LSU

LSU would have beat Okie State last year, thats why we all wanted to play them

TAMU would easily, no doubt about it, be undefeated in the Big 12.

theres no way. they just dont have the defense.

sure they can get up and win big games, but you can't do that every week playing wide open like that. hell Louisiana Tech was a 2 point conversion from taking them to OT

I think he'd still be able to recruit California and Texas really well.

There is no way he'd be getting Cali kids to Arky. Texas, yes, probably better than he is now.

Only if you like a lot of shitty, half-baked arguments filled with hyperbole.

You know, a standard MSB thread.

The Big 12 is piss poor.

Oklahoma and Texas are shells of their normal selves. Texas A&M would score so many points against OU and Texas.

KSU is the only team they'd have issues with due to Snyder's coaching adjustments. I honestly forgot about them when I said my original statement.

ETA:

and the LaTech game is one of those games where a team underestimates their opponent. La Tech also has one of the most prolific offenses in D1.

TAMU has lost to LSU and Florida in relatively close games and beaten Bama at Bama.

Lets look at it like this.

Pretend that the Conferences are actual teams.

If a Team was to win 6 National Championships in a row does losing a regular season game to a Top 15 team "debunk" that that team has been the greatest for the past 6 years? No I don't think so.

I mean honestly how many did you expect the SEC to win in a row. I'm gonna love it when ND loses to USC and and either K State or Oregon loses and lets either Uga or Bama back door their way in to win it again haha

This little novel you wrote addresses nothing, and Texas A&M, a middle of the road team has two losses in the SEC...against only three teams that should have beat them this year, they lost to two of them.

I think you actually proved the parity in the SEC..so if that is your point, which is everyone elses, well then, good job little buddy.

Texas A&M hasnt won the big XII in so long. If u really think they would run the table in any conference with that D you are crazy. The reason Bama and LSU have maintained success is their great defenses. You cannot be consistent enough to get by with only a great offense. Texas A&M would have at least a 30 percent chance of losing to OU K State Okie Lite Texas Tech and TCU. Add all those up and odds are they drop 1 or 2.all it takes is a few turnovers and they dont have the defense to recover.

Yes they beat bama, but they were up 20-0 and needed a yeldon fumble and a goalline interception to hold on 29-25

there is a big difference between being the better team and winning the game. even if you believe A&M is better than anyone in the big XII, there isn't a big enough margin for them to win every single game without an amazing amount of luck.

college football has a lot more randomness to it than it seems you are giving it credit for. 1 bad turnover can cause the better team to lose easily on any given day

he also stated that this upset proved the SEC is top heavy, so I am not too certain he is rational

That offense would have 1-2 drives at best. They scored 3 points against 2011 Texas A&M in the first half and couldn't stop shite all season on defense.

LSU wouldn't have had to throw a single pass to win by 6 touchdowns.

Who knows what would have happened if A&M would have had Swope when they played UF and LSU. He torched Bama and is the fastest white guy in the country.

Swope had 2 catches that went for more than 10 yards.
