Yes, that meaningless touchdown Oregon scored with 13 seconds left in the game against our second stringers totally made the game feel close. It was an arse-kicking.

Oregon was not an arse-kicking. arse-kicking is when you dominate in every aspect of the football game. LSU dominated the turnover battle which made the score look worse than it really was. Oregon outgained LSU and gave up less yards on defense. IF not for the turnovers by the true freshman inside the 20 that game woulda been completely different. People don't know that the 273 yards of total offense LSU had in that game was the lowest all season until the title game.

It takes a Heisman worthy season to be in 3rd place in the West. Thats good enough for 4-5th overall in the SEC. They have denfinitely surpassed expectations, but they won't get anywhere near sniffing the conference title.

5 stars by the OP though. Pretty much right on all accounts. People forget that the QB that played in the BIG 12 that Manziel replaced is a starting QB in the NFL. Bottom line is A&M was a average BIG 12 team at best that's now an elite in the SEC and exposing SEC defenses.

Is it really a coincidence that a team that is in its first year in the SEC......coming from the BIG 12 is the best offense in the SEC?

You really think the Sherman/Tanny offense is the same as the Sumlin/Jff?

It's a night and day difference.

how's Mizzou doing? and I guess aTm hiring Sumlin has zero to do with their succes.

There might (and thats a big might) be only one team better than them in LSU. IF FLorida played A&M i'd take A&M and lay 2 td's.

that's cool. They already played in College Station. UF won. I guess you can just make excuses for that and erase it to make your argument sound stronger.

Yea, they hired someone to install a dynamic, spread Big XII style offense which is exactly what he's done and he's torching the SEC with it.

You are so so so dumb.

Yes, and we are in the top middle with The Ags, Fla, Ga, hell throw in USC. I still put Bama at top for time being.

Being a fan doesn't have to mean you aren't rational. If we had beat FL, which we didn't, I would make a diff argument

This is my point though, is that the SEC isn't TOP HEAVY, take the above teams and we have some great depth even adding MSU and Vandy.

arse kicked? I don't know. It was a 13 point game against one of the most dominant regular season teams in recent memory. You read it all of the time on here, these high powered offenses would never work in the SEC. Same thing said about Kelly was said about Sumlin.

Fault yourself for reading what stupid fricking people post on this board. There have also been Cowboys 13-3 threads, Notre Dame is fricking terrible threads, Matt Ryan is better than Drew Brees threads, etc etc. People are dumb and post dumb shite. Where have you been?

People who know what they're talking about will tell you that a spread offense CAN work in the SEC. Why? Because it has worked in the past. Auburn, Florida, Arkansas, Kentucky and now A&M have all had success running spread offenses in the SEC. Furthermore, a spread offense QB won the HEISMAN in the SEC.

The SEC haters are almost as dumb as the SEC fanboys.

The spread offense is the perfect college football offense (IMO) as long as you have a defense. Which is exactly what has hindered the Oregon's, WVU's and Okie State's from having major success on the national stage.

I actually agree somewhat with what you are trying to say. But your OP has too much hyperbole and nonsense to take it seriously.

The SEC streak has set back college football at least a decade.
