This is very true. Totally agree. BK was hated around here for his interactions with the public and how he performed in big games. Then how he left here, the entire campus and town hates him.

Explain in detail with examples from credible sources how you are better now than under BK? He had you in the playoffs and in a championship game. You were not capable of winning a championship under him and you still aren’t capable of winning one. But you can make the playoffs because you get to set up your own weak schedule every year. Congrats?

Grinding Brian won one big game at ND, he beat Clemson during the regular season and then lost to them in the ACC championship game during the COVID year. Every big bowl he goes to he gets smoked. Did he beat Bama his first year at LSU? Yeah sure he did but at the end of the day he craps the bed in the post season. Do I think ND can win it all this year? Maybe but OSU looks way tough and I’m not sleeping on Penn State either. Regardless Kelly loses big games. You can count on that.

The part of the postseason that your current coach is winning in didn't exist when BK was there.
I don't really understand this Notre Dame mindset that Freeman is somehow "better" just because he has Notre Dame back where they were under BK.

He built your program from nothing back to relevance. He took you to two national championshipships.
He handed Feeeman the keys to a loaded program, and in year three you are JUST now getting as far as BK took you multiple times--after sludging through a sleepwalking UGA where you basically scored zero offensive TD's considering UGA essentially lifted you one at half and passed on multiple scores.

I will say ND does have a much easier schedule than playing a SEC schedule. No denying that we’ll except maybe what Texas played this year.

He also made the 4 team playoff in 2018 and 2020. He never made the championship game though, and actually he flopped in the first round both times.

Note Dame had losing seasons against losing teams before Kelly. I do like your coach. He out coached Kirby tonight but the transition to a good program should be Kelly’s credit. We will see if Notre Dame can win with its power game. You beat a good not great Georgia team with its backup qb, who will be great but doesn’t have the repetitions as qb for the year. Either way I think your coach really shined tonight. Many of us really like Kelly so you are welcome for any part we had in the success you claim with your new coach.
