It was always going to be Russell. Saw him a half dozen times at Duncanville and the dude is a freak. They got a good one.

Probably “safer”/better to post it on a Bama board but all I can say is that Keelon is just different.
Obviously people can’t see it for themselves yet, but he’s the type that only come around so often, and is one of the ones throughout the years who were able to elevate a Syracuse team to a Big East Title or Purdue to a Rose Bowl caliber talent.
I know that sounds like farrrrr too much of exaggeration, hyperbole, “wishful thinking” or however you want to label it.
All I can say is that you can either take advantage of it if you are a person who chooses to gamble… I’m sure you could get crazy odds for two more weeks or so.
Or at least do the “bookmark” thing to my post or however people on here can find an old post and respond to it, and get a good chuckle if I’m wrong.
I’m sure the narrative here will turn into how he saved CKD’s job, etc…but as long as he decides to keep playing in Crimson, it’s like having a “cheat code” for a game when you were a kid.

No choice, just have to play the kids with all the upside now. To wait that extra year is to lose them. Fortunately, this is what Coach DeBoer does best. This offense will now spin around Keelon's strong points.

Mack tried his best and gave it his all and lost out to a more talented player. It happens all the time. We should all applaud his effort and congratulate him for competing so hard.

Sure, at one time. But after a few years in college, it starts to become apparent if it's realistic or not.
I think he has 2 years left, so maybe he will transfer for the right opportunity. If the NFL isn't in the picture, then I could see him not transferring if it's just some mid major type teams interested.
