I remember 3 Tx vs Missouri games
96 - Monsoon.. I was still in school and i might as well have been swimming in the lake.. it was raining that hard
08 or 09? Chase fricking Daniel.. That dude was pretty good, but a cocky sob, and we kicked his arse
17 - I went to the Texas Bowl or whatever it was called then.. our punter won the MVP.. his name was Michael Dickson and he deserved it

I actually think the SEC will help tu’s profile unfortunately, OU is really going to be hurt.
That being said, in the Big Ten’s unending march to a national wide conference, why would they not try and lure away tu? And if there was enough money, would tu say yes? To play USC, Ohio State and possibly Notre Dame(who I think ends up in the B1G) every year? I kind of think they think so highly of themselves it would be hard to turn down.
I think they would love to say, “we are the one Texas brand in the only elite national conference, the B1G”. But I don’t think the odds are great.

I think Texas will leave the SEC in about two or three decades. They won't be able to control the Birmingham offices like they controlled the SWC and Big12. It took them a decade to bolt from the Big12 after their puppet Dan Beebe was ousted and the Big12 stopped catering solely to Texas.

Funny people think this is about football when it's about Texas being a cultural and financial cancer.
Texas is a cancer? Have you not ever been to Tuscaloosa?

I hope they don't at this point - I'd rather 14 other SEC football teams just go ahead and finish beating their program into perpetual mediocrity for the entire CFB world to see - Vanderbilt is welcome to make it 15 -
kill them off as Nebraska has been killed off -
back behind 14 other SEC football teams in the league standings - again

The closer it gets to OUTex coming in, the more aggyMizz starts breathing heavy and slam-typing OPs.
This narrative fails because I (and most, if not all Mizzou fans) are excited for OU to join the conference.
Texas gets treated this way because that athletic program is house-wrecking, selfish, arrogant, wasteful, and short-sighted. Everything it touches turns to ash.

Texas will not finish lower than South Carolina in the SEC in the next 10 years.

Great. When Texas goes independent, the SEC can kick our Missouri and get to an even number of teams.

So by your logic, that couldn't have happened in the 2010s, because Texas won far more games in the 2000s.
And unless we're bringing back Charlie Strong and Tom Herman, your "evidence" doesn't mean jack shite.
