Do you really want to have aggy bring their all-male cheer squad in to DKR.

Just seems gross and disgusting having them on the field..

OU all day. Cotton Bowl and the Fair. No brainer!

Damn right I do I appreciate the rivalry with Aggie and I missed it greatly.

It's just crazy to me that with your history you have no big time rival. For some reason I always thought it was Florida.
I would be surprised if we were forced to pick just one I have a hard time believing that we would lose Oklahoma or A&M as yearly rivals

OU if I have to pick. That said I am happy to have the Aggie and Razorbacks on the schedule and I would play all three every year if possible.

Ole miss is a mutually accepted rivalry however they have MSU.

Bama and auburn have each been a rivalry with us based more around being a big game.

Arkansas was forced but was nice but not longstanding history.

Tamu is a decent rivalry but once again we are number 2.

Florida was our East opponent but no long-standing history past original expansion and is mainly based on being a big game rather than anything else but even that’s fallen off

Tulane is the old timers rivalry but that was destined to die when they left the SEC

Are y’all still planning to continue the Bedlam rivalry with OSU?

Nope...bedlam is dead and buried. It has been a way for the sheephumpers to prop up their schedule. I haven't heard and Sooner fans say that they miss it.

That is cool.

My parents took me to the OU game and Fair.

It was a great time with my family. Great memories.

I have been to both several times. They are different but both are special to me.

For the longest time it was Ole Miss. LSU-Ole Miss was a big rivalry for 50 years and only dropped off a bit over the last 20 years. The only reason it won't be Ole Miss is because of the Egg Bowl. If it were me I'd make it LSU-Arkansas... there is already a trophy ;).

It was only Florida after expansion mandated the permanent cross-division rivals and LSU's was Florida.

I disagree with this, Bedlam wasn't a competitive rivalry in the W-L department, but that game was special, and they were some of the craziest games you will watch. I know a lot of Sooner fans who would like to keep it. We are keeping it in most other sports. Okie Lite didn't want it because they don't want the "L" 8 out of 10 years, and they wanted a better shot at the playoff (laughable as that seems this season).

OU. Traditionally more consistently competitive.

OU. That’s a genuine football rivalry. A&M is a toxic penis envy rivalry.

Dumb question. We will fight that decision because we want both (actually three - Arky). Those are some of the reasons to be in this conference.

We will probably lose arky. I love the rivalry but after so many years apart it just isn't as important.

You have penis envy with A&M? Not sure I would admit that on this forum

I would think for both schools the Red River game is a non-negotiable. Even as far as leaving a conference if they ever tried to force H&H or tried to take it off of the annual schedule.

As a fan, Oklahoma. I don’t generally like to talk sports with aggy as it’s like talking to a child. I hate those cOck sUckers up north, but at least there is a level of respect and a worthy adversary.
