I thought it was easy to recruit at Texas. What happened to those guys? 15 total? What are they on secret probation?

Technically Daeshon Hall and Ricky Seals-Jones were, at one point, "Texas good".

And all year long, it has been the rest of the SEC fans starting longwhorn threads.

BUT.. if you'd like some entertaining reading.. head over to the trainwreck that is orangebloods.

frick those tea sip bastards. The Aggies have finally out flanked those cock suckers and they are in a full blown panic. I will lose all respect for the SEC office if we ever consider allowing those selfish pricks in this conference.

Texas is greedy and they made their bed so they need to lay in it.

frick them!!

Mack would like you to think that he only offers players who are "Texas Good", but in reality, they were spurned by many prospects late in the recruiting season.

They ended up losing commits to Bama, A&M, TCU and Notre Dame. Also lost on a lot of late prospective targets to A&M, Ole Miss, TCU, Ohio State and.. gulp... Baylor.

The bloom is off the rose in Austin. Without at least a 10 win season, it's likely Mack is gone and I can't imagine Dodds is around much longer either. Unfortunately for Applewhite, it looks like he literally screwed himself out of the CIW moniker.

The Longhorn Network sure helped them in recruiting.

I think they are in real trouble based solely on quotes I saw from Mack today. talked about only getting kids who wanted to be at Texas, running the offense at an Oregon pace(lol really), deflected when talking about Swoopes to say ask the coach who recruited him about how good he was. the Ole Miss game just got interesting and just judging by their boards, which surprised even me, if he doesn't get 10-11 wins minimum next year they will run him out of town on a rail.

Same thing happened in the 1980s. Texas can go dumpster fire as quickly as any program, and can stay there longer than you'd think ...

What's hilarious is that it actually hurt them. They showed the practices that week and the schemes they were running on the LHN, which were picked up by every opposing coach to prepare. It taxed an aging Mack Brown, who can't keep up with all of UT's demands.

Stupidity at its finest.
