I'd be interested to know who had more recruit attrition, Texas or USC?

Texas already has a depth problem and only adding 15 recruits isn't going to help. On top of that Mack hasn't been very good at developing talent for a while now. Could be a rough few years on the 40 Acres.

This has been my favorite NSD because of those two. Nothing makes me happier than seeing those pretentious fricks squirm.

I don't give a damn about texas, but I would rather have 30 sr's than 30 freshmen.

It also makes me laugh at the so-called prospect ranking "experts."

15 signees -- 4 of which are OL -- and they're a top 25 class?

bullshite.

To be fair, Coach Sumlin wanted to have 4 OL in this year's class, but Gustafson's rehab would have cost him a full year of eligibility...so I think one of the two remaining ships for 2012 is reserved for him.

Look just because ole miss butt fricked the dawgs, doesn't mean ole miss will beat us. Can they? Sure they can.

But I know one thing, ole miss is going to make you quit AGAIN next year.

USC may have edged out Texas in attrition but that is because they had more recruits people wanted. Texas lost most of the gems in their class outside of Perkins. All the other big time recruits got poached.

It's all good though, according to Mack he only wants players that really want to play at Texas!

frick those tea sip bastards. The Aggies have finally out flanked those cock suckers and they are in a full blown panic. I will lose all respect for the SEC office if we ever consider allowing those selfish pricks in this conference. Texas is greedy and they made their bed so they need to lay in it. frick them!!

"I'll lose all respect for the SEC office." Only a bama fan would have any to begin with. But UT will never get an SEC invite simply because of the LH network. The SEC is poised to get its own network & UT will never return the fortune it got from ESPN.

Same thing happened in the 1980s. Texas can go dumpster fire as quickly as any program, and can stay there longer than you'd think

Which is why they're one of my most underperforming programs in history given the advantage of their name and state.

We're all tired of Mack's bullshite. We just want him gone. At least we held on to Perkins and James. If they had jumped ship I would have boycotted Texas football until Mack's retirement. There's still no excuse for taking a grand total of zero defensive linemen. If they were feeling good about A'Shawn, then they were fricking retarded; every fan had been sweating him out since the day he committed.

I still don't understand why we didn't get back on Daeshon Hall after it was discovered that he was going to stay in Texas. At this point I just want to say to give Searels a raise and fire everyone else, because outside of the OL class, this class blows.

TL;DR frick Mack.

In R.C. Slocum's 1999 recruiting class, he got ONE linebacker (Brian Gamble).

ONE linebacker for a 3-4 defense is the kiss of death.

ZERO defensive linemen is a plague for a 4-3 defense.

You SEC boys are never going to get Texas to join up with you if you keep on talkin bad about them. Maybe the mods should create another forum - Texas Rant. I bet it would get more interest than your team forums. :)
