Higher ups are scared? No reason that game should not be played. I understand Texas has a nine game conference but the game should be played.

Alright I’m halfway across the country but why wouldn’t you want to play? Is there some backstory here that I am unaware of? It’s a natural rivalry.

To be fair to A&M they are playing in the SEC West.
They are facing much tougher competition compared to the teams Texas is facing in the big 12.

Texas should only expect a loss to Oklahoma. They should dominate the others. There is no real excuse.

We've been playing Bama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Clemson, and the MS schools in some of their best years in recent memory. Texas has been playing Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, etc. The only really good team in the Big 12 right now is Oklahoma. Everyone else is average.

Usually I would agree, but TCU, Baylor, and Okie State have better coaches than Texas. All the four and five stars in the world don’t mean as much if they aren’t being coached up and executing a game plan.
