Zero championships in the last two decades. Yet somehow the rest of the SEC are suppose to see them as an elite program???

Texas is fools gold. Shiny on the outside, but when you scratch the surface, you find they're just a gay University that underperforms year after year.

But when you bring them up when no one asked, doesn’t that make you the fool

Been awhile since a West Georgia boog started in on Texas.

and for one of their claimed titles, they lost their bowl game...

Texas is a strong program these days but I tend to think their players are soft and prone to choking.

Love how you team sec homers who for whatever reason feel threatened by Texas you feel the need to pick and choose time frames to fit a narrative.

Yep we have been below average on nattys and if I had to guess top 10 in wins over that timeframe.

I’ve always said Vince Young dragged the Longhorns kicking and screaming to a national title.

Where’s your hardware? Y’all couldn’t even win the Big 12.

I agree. It's only been half a century. Who are we to judge?

People are high on their offense and defense, bro, they trust Sark’s abilities as HC/OC. Don’t know what else to tell you.

Texas had to get out of the Big 12. It kept them in their bubble of playing with their competition. The SEC and NIL may have woken a sleeping giant.

Which would’ve never even happened if replay had been implemented

The sad truth is that Texas is great at racking up wins - but struggles to rack up championships. I feel we will be the same with 7-win Sark. Our talent and resources will get us to the dances, but we will choke it up with 2nd-tier big game leadership.

Even look at our baseball program. Same story - even more so. We should have twice as many championships as LSU (at least). We are in the CWS practically 50% of the time since it began.

It's a story as old as time.

Go back another 7 years and we have 4.

I agree its pretty pathetic to have 1 on 50 years

20 years later you're still bringing up a 2nd down play

What a bitch

What year(s) do you think you should have won titles? I think 2008/2009 you absolutely could have another potentially. Do you think Texas was the best team either of the last 2 seasons and "choked"?
