So... you think the SEC wouldn't have gotten rid of divisions if they added two other random teams instead of Texas/OU?

I was not aware of this. But expansion brings changes. With the arrival of USC And Arkansas the conference moved to divisions and a championship game. Neither team claimed to run the conference. You are delusional.
