He beat OU, our #1 rival, 49-0, the largest shutout in the rivalry in over 100 years.

It ain't how you start, it's how you finish. Bama played like warm spit and Texas had a lot to do with that, but it's a long season.
Thay had a LOT of eggs in that basket, and if they don't win that game I think it might have ruined their year. They had to have it...maybe Bama did not.
Alabama is at a cross roads early on...win out get to Atlanta and they can still get where they want to go. But they have to play a lot better to get to that level.
