You’ve probably seen “murder hornets” popping up in your Facebook feed this week.
The two-inch insects, actually known as Asian giant hornets, can kill humans if they are stung multiple times. The hornets are also strong enough to puncture a beekeeper’s suit.
Gov. Greg Abbott instructed Texas A&M Agrilife experts to direct strategies for protecting Texans, agriculture, and honeybees if the giant hornet arrives in Texas.
The task force will bring together experts from across the Texas A&M system, including Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the Texas A&M Department of Entomology, and the Center for Cross-Border Threat Screening and Supply Chain Defense.

Not was I was Expecting to see.
A real solution: baws holding a tennis racket and flying insect spray searching the woods finding hives.

Find the nests and burn them out. Wrap a gasoline soaked rag around the end of a 15 foot pole, set fire and fry the bastahds. Now that will get A&M a $500K grant to study.

the only thing that will come of that is a paper on how to frick ‘em without getting stung...just like y’all find a way to frick every other animal.
your rich history of various forms of stump breaking is really your only “tradition.”

Just use a shop vac to vacuum them up at night. They don't sting at night.

If a thing could be killed with The Ghey, Aggie would win one Nobel prize after another.

Are the killer hornets all males?
Because that’s the only way aggies will be interested, if they are all male.

They kill 50 people a year in Japan. I’m not too worried at all. Now, if I harvested honey and had a significant bee farm, I would be curious.
