What’s the predicted attendance? I’m kind of thinking 70k wouldn’t be shocking, but I’m sure y’all have a better idea.

Greg McElroy talks too freaking much. I understand his job is too explain things, but he goes to far and just continues to ramble into the next damn play.

It's a much bigger deal in the regular season. I couldn't care less if he's talking over a play in the spring game.

Still a solid crowd. I was way off with the prediction though. I guess College Station isn't necessarily the easiest place to get to for a spring game as well.

I was thinkin’ it’d be between 30-35K, so I was pleasantly surprised with the turnout.
(I didn’t want to go on record saying it, then look like a fool when we were well below that)

It isn’t that at all; CS isn’t a tough place to travel for a spring game.
Spring game just isn’t something any of our coaches have ever touted (we actually didn’t even have one a couple of years ago when Kyle Field was under construction).

It wouldn’t surprise me to see attendance grow in the future, with the combined influence of the SEC and Coach Fisher.

Watched most of the first quarter with some aggies...
Looking forward to the State - aTm game again, as ya'll still look soft (aside from your jar thing)

Am I right in that regardless of how Jimbo does, he gets 10 mill minimum from aTm?

It was parents weekend and with hotels going for $350 - many sold out. I thought about going but didn't want to drive back to DFW

He gets 7.5 M a year. His contract is for 10 years. He's getting 75 M regardless of how he does.

I have no idea how they calculated. A lot of people seemed got cycle through. Some people left after the first while some were just getting there. At one point it looked like the entire bottom level, pretty much all of the second, and part of the 3rd on the alumni side was full. I would have guessed that would be 50+ easily.

No clue how they counted but it looked like a solid crowd inside. Glad we were in the student side and it was just perfect weather

How many players will Jimbo cull from this roster? Sumlin ran a soft program so Jimbo has work to do in that regard. JMO but I believe Jimbo is going to do very well at A&M.

He has 81 scholarship players including the incoming members of the 2018 class so he technically doesn't have to cull anyone, but I expect at least 5 non-contributors to leave on their own.

It’s odd seeing A&M line up in the I.

You mean like where the QB touches the center “down there”? Ewwww.....

Like others have said, Rumlin is the primary set of data for most of you, but there was a time (and I hope it’s coming back) when we were known for fast, physical defenses and a balanced offense.

Under Slocum, the offense gradually went from "3 yards and a cloud of dust" to "3 total yards and a punt".
