Trying to join the women in being national title contenders. The #1 players from Arizona State, Auburn and UNLV all joining A&M from the portal.
Added to a roster that will return its top 4 players. A&M going all out next year with a big budget in tennis.

NGL if they care about men’s tennis being one of the best sounds like the right direction

It hasnt. They had a pretty expensive roster this year and crashed out in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. Got dominated by Stanford on their own courts.

Does ESPN get off their tails to even show NCAA tennis? Im ignorant on the subject so no jokes. We have women’s rifle teams. Which I just found out.
I hate to show my age but I don’t give women guns. Seems like a bad idea. I give my wife enough reasons to shoot me weekly.

You damn right I was, it was me. These are some of the replies from SEC fans when a team wins a national championship that's not football. They all act like they don't care, but they all compete in these sports. A few schools and fans actually care about all their teams and all sports. Most act like they don't care because it's F'ing difficult to win any sport which so many compete in.
Just a bunch of hypocrisy, so I thought I'd sprinkle some of it in reply to OP. Look at the replies and you'll see some that are on my list, and this isn't a NC posting thread.
I know OP wasn't posting about a NC, but just that A&M is making an effort will upset the losers that can't compete in so many different sports, they just participate.

Men’s tennis is at least more significant than women’s softball. But not nearly the level of women’s volleyball.

NGL this is fun to do on Madden but kind've lame in real life.
We know it's not some championship program aura, not some legendary, must-hear coaching mystique etc. that's drawing the talent, it's just money and thats boring.
Best of luck A&M, but even in tennis, this being the new normal is a sour pill to swallow
