I think my friend from Alabama was being somewhat hyperbolic, tho I could be wrong. Even coaches and sports writers disagree with each other re: how they vote each week.
The point of my previous comment was … it’s far easier for a team who starts at the top of the polls to stay at the top—records being equal. Voters simply aren’t going to randomly drop a team. Breaking into the polls and/or climbing them is a more challenging feat.
Congrats on your team’s season. The Buckeyes are certainly deserving of the votes they’re receiving.

I agree they look solid as a rock and as good as anyone. I had a feeling Elko was going to do this, and sure enough, he has.

IF and that’s a big IF A&M played all 4 quarters of a game like they play the second half, there’s no team that can beat us! Not Alabama, not Ohio State nor Georgia who I think is a bit overrated.
BUT the fact that we have yet to play all 4 quarters worries me and I think that puts us where we should be at #3.
Great teams play all 4 quarters, A&M has tons of potential but we haven’t put it all together. So no, I don’t think we are the best team in the nation but I can’t complain one bit as far as where we are and how we finish each game!!

For the record, I don’t either.
But they’re a great team who I’m enjoying watching!
Many games remain ….

Well that isn't true.
You can make an argument if you want but there is no way it is unanimous. If it was you would see them having all the #! votes in all the polls
y'all ain't played nobody! and almost lost to the 6th best SEC team at home

Ags are legit. Maybe the most complete A&M team in all phases I can recall watching.
They play fast and aggressive and with purpose.
No lollygagging or dinking and dunking and throwing soft jabs while trying to figure you out.
They just attack. Fun team to watch.

Why do people keep trying to splice and dice this? A&M has zero control over their schedule, and has won each game they’ve been told to play … more and more so convincingly as the season progresses.
They hate you because they ain’t you. Embrace the hate and keep truckin’ on.

The buckeyes haven’t played anyone worth a damn

The best team is only 3 points better than Arkansas? I don’t buy that.

The Aggie fanbase for the most part, do not believe that we are the best team in the nation. We haven’t played an entire game yet. The third quarter of the LSU was a revelation of the potential that the Aggies have thought in all three phases of the game. We play like that, we can play with anyone.

Our defense completely shite the bed in that game and I think did not take Arkansas seriously. Great lesson for the defense and they turned things around against LSU.

Think it’s between bucks, Indiana, and Aggies

They did yesterday but gave up 42 points last week to the pigs. So, who knows?

Truly happy for the Aggies. It’s great to see them break through. They could lose two of their last four and still make the playoffs.

I still think at the end of the season Georgia will be the best SEC team based on their more balanced team.
I don’t know if Georgia is more balanced.

Ohio State only beat Texas by 7 at home.
Humiliating, but not enough to keep them out of the top spot, apparently.

Game 1 of the season doesn’t mean a lot either way. See Florida St./Bama for reference.
This was a mid season near bed-shitting by TAMU. Not the same

There is something weird about us and Arkansas. Even when Chad Morris had one of the worst teams in CFB history, we almost lost to you.
