Or encourage people/professors who have been silenced and forced to hide in the shadows by the higher ed “elite,” (mostly of an extreme and specific political ideology) to come out of the woodwork and teach in a responsible non-indoctrinational manner.
I welcome those ethical and open-minded, without agenda, individuals to come teach in Texas.

and don't try to teach stuff that is not part of that class. Stick to what you are supposed to be teaching.
I am sure there are other classes that are available that teach gender studies. Students can take one of those classes if they want to learn more.

Go read the A&M forums on Reddit (they popped up when I googled the story to find out wtf was going on because I don’t have social media). Holy shite, they absolutely have a huge liberal population on campus despite what we hear about them being the conservative alternative to Texas. There are thousands of replies on dozens of posts that are backing the professor and calling for protests.

I actually agree with your first point — we shouldn’t use Scripture as ammunition to justify our own personal opinions. The opposite is true: my personal feelings should be shaped by Scripture, because otherwise I’m just making myself the authority instead of God.
As for your question, it’s really an appeal to hypocrisy and doesn’t address the issue. Of course, I have to continually measure my own life against Scripture — and the Scripture itself calls us to do that. But if only the flawless could share or appeal to Scripture, then no one would ever hear it. The message doesn’t depend on my perfection; it points us to the one who is perfect.

Probably for a long time, since the professor's PhD was in children's studied and graduate minor in gender studies. The course description from February 23rd and even the current course description hints at this being taught in the class. Fall 2018 is when this professor started teaching the class.

They’re 5 guys (at a campus of over 70,000) whose purpose is to lead the crowd, and encourage school spirit at a football stadium. It’s different and unconventional, but the good news is that it has absolutely nothing to do with you, and you’re free from participating.
I’m sure you think you sound witty and clever, but honestly, it’s tired.
