You guys are recruiting the same as every year lol you guys are mad worried about Aggie, you guys would be fine only winning 5 games for the next 5 years if they were all against us, appreciate the love horn

That has been the Vol's mantra since the 90's, they keep winning the off season but flop when it comes to the actual season.

A&M led the move to the SEC. OU made the next move. Horns followed the train engines.
0 losing season since A&M joined SEC. Since then, Texas has had 4 losing seasons. ironically NIL has locked up the Texas HS talent to both flagship schools, so both A&M and Texas will do very well in the NIL wild west era.
SEC move proved the wrong move by OU, so wrong, that their head coach bailed to the west coast right away

Kind of easy to never have a losing season when you have 4 OOC games and 3 are a cupcake every year. In the last 5 years, Texas has more wins over ranked teams than a&m. You are a paper tiger - a joke.

A&M just had the greatest recruiting class of all time. OU had to beg to join the SEC because winning a dog shite conference every year was meaningless.

UT and OU will take a big step back having to play in a stronger conference.
Proximity will probably mean more direct competition for recruits in TX and LA which is likely to bring all four programs down closer to equilibrium.
But also recruiting is mostly national now.

Agri and Mech resembles Neb these days, but lacks the winning tradition of Neb. Just watch. Delusion gives way to reality and, while painful for the faithful in Collie Station, is cleansing for them. They come back the next year as if they are defending national champions. Crazy, yes. And entertaining as always. Hat tip to my Aggie friends for that.
