In other words, the muffin-topped SEC media pencil-necks just copy/pasted their muffin-topped national media pencil-necked counterpart's work.

I didn’t realize UGA is the only SEC school that plays special teams

Bama only got it because of the logo and Saban used to be their coach, people sleeping on LSU fine then we come and ruin dreams

I used to think the SEC media were equal parts stupid and lazy. Now I think it's mostly stupid, and willfully so. Mizzou at 12 is hilariously off, but all Mizzou fans knew it was coming.

still think it's crazy to assume we will win when we don't even know what we have at QB yet.
Granted our defense will be very good again and will win games for us but I have to see Arch lead the team in Columbus before I can even begin to think we have a shot at winning the SEC.

yeah media days is just so they can get together and pat themselves on the back. Tennessee being behind Ole Miss, Aggie, and South Carolina is funny to me. Not saying Tennessee will finish above them but not sure what those programs have done for any real thoughtful reporter to think they are more situated for success this year. Tennessee has a better team top to bottom than all of them. Aguilar has started the same amount of games in the SEC as Ole Miss's QB

In addition to all that, Heupel has won at a higher clip than most of the coaches ahead of him. Not saying we are gonna be good this year but not sure why Heup and Co doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.

I think they’re looking at UT losing Nico will hurt them more than the other teams

Such a ridiculous thing to say, maybe you didn't watch arch in the games he played? We have enough data to know what he can do and what he could have improved on (that one season could have easily done) Manning is as ready as Eli and Peyton or even more prepared at about the same age.

oh I watched him against georgia. The one really good team he played against. Do you really want to review that tape?
I'm not saying he won't be good. He may be great, but it's not unreasonable to say he's an unknown commodity as leader of this team.
I know that kool-aid is sweet but I wouldn't get so butt-hurt over someone having an opinion that differs from yours. Let's wait and see how he looks against osu. If we win that game I'll be right there with you.

Texas has done nothing but lose every single offensive position … They lost 4 out of 5 starting OL…. TE running back two WRs …. They lost two of their best DL , CB…. And lost their starting qb … arch isn’t as good as Ewers … Ewers is probably going to be cut by his nfl team or practice squad . That’s how bad the situation is for them … they had a qb who can’t even make a nfl roster starting over arch …. They will not finish number one that i am certain of … even with that weak arse sec schedule . No matter how good recruiting they have had it’s going to take them a season to get as high as the media thinks . They are in for a rude awakening mark my words .

I think a lot of what gets lost in this bs period of portal and nil is that keeping players at your school (specifically QBs) that know the system will be a better investment than a plug and play like they are trying to force now.

This year will be a good barometer.

Sometimes you get lucky, but even with a Burrow, it takes a year to learn the system to do well.

They will learn a few million$ later....

I’m most interested in finding out who gave Auburn a first place vote.

yeah I'm a big fan of Arch because he was willing to stick around and put int he work to earn his spot. He could taken millions to go elsewhere and be guaranteed a starting job but he stuck it out and put in the work. I have a lot of respect for him for doing that.
Doesn't mean he's the next vince young...but I'm definitely rooting for the guy.

ya know ill take it. The 2015-2019 years were just rough in the preseason. Some hype and stuff is kind of fun. I just hope we don't Kentucky it and just suck when we are supposed to have a good QB
