Nope.

He shouldn’t be, either.

NIL sucks and has changed the game forever…but now that it’s the game…who gives a shite who or where the money comes from. Let the university set up a fund from taxpayers, donations, student tuition or rogue boosters.

They wanted pay..let them have it.

But there are rules about NIL. You can’t pay a kid to come to your school.

NIL is supposed to be independent of schools with players getting money for their marketability. Not pay for play.

Can you cite all of them because they vary by state? And they change all the time

What it was designed to be and what it actually is are two different things

I know that.

But did anyone in their right mind not see this coming? Mirror whatever the nfl does for salaries and then take all these BS rules about visits, trip payments, flying here and there…shite can all the restrictions.

This is college football now.

actually people don’t want it …. The ncaa doesn’t want it and only the players won’t godly amounts of money before even stepping on the field for college teams most will never graduate or even star for the school they sign with lol…. If we are going to give millions to people let’s give the players who are all Americans who come back for there senior year to have a shot at winning a title .. not some 17 year old kid who’s parents think they are getting half the money lol .

We ain’t bad at the portal. How much would he go for as a backup? We need to be prepping Dart’s replacement in 2025.

I know it is hard for you to see but some kids are money. I mean walking talking guarantees to winning. No longer can big programs stockpile their benches with talent and waste their time. This is going to balance the scales a bit. But only a bit. Once big programs adjust, things will calm down.

But I do believe the money with such immature kids will create a lot of bad situations that hurts them in the long run.

When is the last time any program got any more than the lightest of taps on the wrist plus a sternly worded citation letter? SMU was the last true sacrificial lamb..and aggy probably instigated that since they stole Eric Dickerson and a few others they wanted.

Unfortunately for you, 2024 will bring another year of LSU still sucking and NICO owning the SEC.

Your fear is justified.

Tenner hasn’t been relevant since Clinton was president.

There is a very real chance Texas will only be the only school eligible for the SEC title game.
