But there are rules about NIL.

Tennessee and Spyre followed them to the letter.

When is the last time any program got any more than the lightest of taps on the wrist plus a sternly worded citation letter? SMU was the last true sacrificial lamb..and aggy probably instigated that since they stole Eric Dickerson and a few others they wanted.

Alabama - 2002
Southern Cal - 2010

It seems like the NCAA has a history of slamming a school every 10 years or so.

So the way it sounds is that Spyre Sports would be willing to do NIL deals for any player even if that player went to another school.

Unfortunately for you, 2024 will bring another year of LSU still sucking and NICO owning the SEC. Your fear is justified.

This isn't Tennessee vs the NCAA....This is college football vs the NCAA.

I have yet to see or hear anyone of importance taking up for or backing the NCAA in this. Tennessee is leading the charge and other schools will follow.

Can you cite all of them because they vary by state? And they change all the time

For all the flack A&M got for throwing money to get kids - this $8 MILLION DOLLAR CARROT they waved to get the kid to even look at tinnissee is just as egregious.
Fisher may have been lying out his arse, but he was smart enough to say he and his program had nothing to do with NIL payments, and avoid the subject entirely.

states are racing each other to come up with the most extreme nil laws that make it impossible to enforce an kind of rules, so when the ncaa tries to enforce any restriction they get sued per state

Florida actually did a pay for play scheme for 13 million to a QB they couldn’t afford and released him from his letter because of it. Kid then signed with Miami for 9 million.

You are throwing out a lot of info that is not correct sir.

Nico will play. The NCAA has the Lawsuit against them from Virginia and Tennessee Attorney Generals with more to join. The NCAA is going to be killed off. You make a new rule. Then go back a year later to the rule that didn’t exist.

After Tennessee wins the lawsuit, how many Missouri players will be in the transfer portal to Tennessee?

There are so many morons on this rant. All they can do is take shots at each other instead of having an intelligent conversation.

Not if those laws go against federal employment laws.

Please provide a copy of the alleged broken rules and the statement of charges from the investigation.

Given prior history (& Michigan this year), it’s more likely Vols win it all and Nico gets a Heisman out of it…
