Can we back date our 20 years of misery to time served?

We appreciate your infatuation with our program. It means a lot to us and the rest of our fanbase.

Bama fans are simply incapable of putting themselves in this position. How badly did y’all want that 2009 title after a lengthy drought?

Ole Miss fans sure seem insecure about this win judging by all of these posts. I mean, I half get it. UT wasn’t supposed to be able to hang, yet they honestly looked like the better team in their coach’s first season, despite losing more players than any other P5 team. But damn. Calm down, you won.

You seem bitter that Alabama had the greatest season ever in 2020.

2020 was the COVID season. Too many anomalies. Even 2021 is closer to normal but still not quite the same. I’m not sure it ever will be with NIL, opt outs, wokeness, etc.

LSU had the greatest season ever in 2019.

Is it worth being a ole Miss fan with nothing to show in the modern era?

Fulmer made a bad hire at OC in Clawson, and made a terrible decision in chasing Jimmy Clausen. Other than that he did fine.

Aint that the damn truth. I think barely beating Tennessee with some sketchy reffing and 65 scholarship players is the best thing that has ever happened to them.

Yes, it was worth it. For the record - we were a top 5-10 program for over a decade - not 15. So, yes we won a natty and contended for one year in and year out. You on the other hand had the best seasons in school history VACATED for hookers and cheating. If Bama, LSU, UF, Auburn want to talk shite about us winning championships - I can accept that... but Ole Piss? Hahaha no

Fulmer only got Tennessee to the SEC Championship Game 5 times in his 16 years at the helm. Too bad he didn't have Ole Miss level success when he was there. Imagine what could have been.

Does not compute. We’ve won three since TN last did. 2 since the SECR promised us after Saban left that we’d become irrelevant.

LSU isn’t going away, and while we may not end every season ranked first, LSU will always be number one on the minds of the SECR ilk.

This is like bragging about having a winning record over Alabama during the Ears Whitworth era. Aside from the Stallings years, we were objectively terrible.
