It’s the fans. We are spoiled arse rotten to the success and get flat out bored during 90% of the games.
There is piped in music instead of the band which also drove me crazy as a fan.
And the damn elephant noise screaming every few seconds. SMH

Does he have the slightest clue how many times in the last 10 years Tide fans have experienced such an event at Bryant-Denny?
A real astute article!

I'm surprised even a site like MSN would publish some rando's dear diary entry. Bitter homer is bitter.

Just a dumb article all around.
1. UT and Bama went undefeated at home this year.
2. Bama has 2 home losses in the last 10 years.
3. Can anyone remember the last time Bama had a chance to quit on their team during a home loss?

You can call me old fashioned, but I like the classic, bowled in stadiums like Michigan, Notre Dame, The Rose Bowl, and so forth. Now a days, schools go way over the top with their renovations, and essentially ruin the atmosphere.

everyone knows this article is BS with made up crap. Don't acknowledge. no clicks, no protests, just let it die

Going to the Rose Bowl and Notre Dame stadiums, those are two great places to see football.
The Rose Bowl for a bowl game is second to none. The Rose Bowl for a UCLA game against any opponent not named USC is quite bland.

I am willing to bet he hasn’t even been to Neyland or Bryant Denny. Most northern sports writers do not like the SEC, especially when it comes to football. If he done a list of the top 5, I am willing to bet he would have Penn State and Ohio state in his top 3. Thsi guy is from New York and currently on Pennsylvania. frick his Yankee arse.
This goes to show you he knows nothing about UT Football. UT has been bad for the better part of the last 20 years till here just recently. And even during the Dooley, Kiffin, Pruitts, and Jones years, UT still averaged over 95K a game. This year’s average attendance was over 100K a game. He is going to hate on everything SEC. frick him!!!

Bama has lost 9 (NINE) home games in 15 years and 4 of those were Coach Saban's 1st season.

I'm calling BS on Notre Dame as well.
Yes, the media is insufferable when it comes to the Irish, but the stadium is on campus, the campus is amazing, TD Jesus overlooks one endzone, and on and on.
It's an exceptional environment for a college football Saturday.
I admit to being a little letdown by the actual Notre Dame gameday environment during my initial experience. My first trip was in 2000 and it was a September game and we likely had way too much to drink in Chicago the night before. I remember thinking that South Bend had all the charm of Waco and that Linebackers was just an ok place for post-game beers.
I have been back more than 10 times since then and developed an appreciation for the place, especially in the latter fall when the temps start dropping.

They do when they are paying the Citadel or Mercer and winning by 50. Even Saban has a rant about fans leaving the stadium early even when they are winning.
Saban on fans leaving Early
I've talked about players playing for 60 minutes in the game and competing for 60 minutes in the game. And, in some kind of way, everybody that chooses to go to the game should stay there and support the team for the game.
Saban went further, even trying to guilt the Tide fanbase. He played the recruiting card and also suggested that leaving early is disrespectful to Alabama's beautiful facility: We have lots of recruits there, we like to see an enthusiastic full stadium.

No fan base in America sticks around for the 4th quarter of a 55-7 game against ULM or Ball State.

Bama hasn't lost a game in Bryant-Denny by more than two scores since October 2004.

The ball-hazing endured the week after that horrible South Carolina loss would have made vets of the Western Front of WW1 shudder.

The panorama around the Rose Bowl is fantastic. The stadium itself is a dump.
