At this point why is Tennessee and Illinois playing a game on Tuesday night in late December in Nashville? Even when bowl games were at the height of meaning something there were at best 4-5 that were remotely meaningful. The rest were a good excuse for a small number of fans to get out town for a long weekend but there’s no reason not to do that with or without a $100 ticket to a game where most of the team doesn’t want to be there.

Mates, I'm getting PMs to grade the MCB field.
Using my proprietary "Field Asthetic Grading System" (figs) I have the following score:
Midfield logo: 35 out of 40. Large and attractive logo with vibrant colours. Graphically pleasing. Loss of style points for the thin coat of paint that you can see the green plastic pitch through.
Endzones: 16 out of 40 possible points. Semi-custom endzones with school colours. But what's the point of erasing the Titans wordmarks and using a stencil to paint the bowl name when you could have painted the team names for no more effort?
Lagniappe: 14 out of 20 possible points. Attractive sponsor logos at the 25 yard lines and nice looking sponsorship and bowl bunting around the stands. I like that they have a LiMu Emu mascot
Total: 65 out of 100 Solid yet slightly disappointing effort by the Nashville grounds krewe and the MCB staff.

What's poor to me about the end zones is they have used the exact same end zone design several years in a row

Ennh, that's a ton of makeup. I think you're correct.

Can we rehire Tim Banks real quick so we can fire him again after the game?

The refs should’ve pulled Altmeyer for fear of a concussion there.

Where was this Atlmeyer and Illini offense when they got fricking skunked by Wisky and cost me a HUGE parlay

I don't care if you have a heisman contender pocket quarter back on your team, if you don't start the scrambling one against us , your coach is fricking retarded

Feels like Tennessee gave up after they were eliminated from the playoffs. They weren't this bad earlier in the year.

Not anti-Tenn, but as long as Heupel is there and they act thuggish, I am not sad to see them lose.

Tennessee is embarrassing.

Just here to say the SEC is down. Carry on.
