It was inevitable, he never would have survived the backlash once this all got let out. If he had stayed, he would have transferred mid season after a few bad games and a lot of boos.
Good riddance. Give me a team player every day over this bullshite. Go Vols.
This biggest sign that he fricked up is that fans on the rant are taking Tennessee’s side in this. That takes a lot.

Solid decision by Tennessee. I hope more teams follow suit and tell these kids no.

We might be worse on the football field this year but I'm proud of my university for not giving in to this clown family

He wasn't that good anyway
Imagine getting destroyed in the last game you played and thinking you deserve a bigger payday.

The money is staying. That ship has sailed. This needs to be the first salvo in reining in the unfettered free agency that has schools bending over and lubing up. That is the threat to the sport. Someone has to say "Enough" and get to the negotiating table ... no one is going to ordain a fix here and they need to avoid collusion which will be a 100% winner for the players if it goes to court ... and stop the yearly search for the highest bidder.

I hope his decision blows up in his face and I also hope UT loses every game next year without him.

That's just stupid, make them poor again. That's jealousy from a butthurt contingent of fans who think that they are the most important part of the sport. Again, fix the unfettered free agency that is the seed of this and everybody gets a piece of the pie and moves on.

I hope schools stay away from this guy and he ends up at a SWAC or something.
