Tebow. He could break JFF in half

JFF. Tebow is a crying gay virgin pusscake

Cam Newton. But between Tebow and Manziel, I'd take Manziel. He's more talented as a football player and did more with less than Tebow at Florida. I'd gladly take either, though. Both are/were incredible college quarterbacks.

Just so lurkers understand, nobody here would actually take Tebow over Manziel. They're just butthurt and have JFF fatigue.

Many of our conference mates have been diagnosed with this malady. Sadly for them, it will most likely worsen before it gets better.

Why? Isn't everyone's goal to win a championship? Haven't one of these guys actually been tested on multiple occasions and come up big?

Tebow was good for four years. We'll see what happens to JFF.
The question doesn't ask whose overall career is better (and such a question would be unfair given JFF hast had the opportunity to compile the achievements Tebow did over 4 years). It asks who you want for 1 year.

Why do we necessarily give Tebow all the credit for winning a title, and put all the blame on Manziel for not getting there his first year?
Do we just ignore the game's other two phases?
At the very best, Tebow's proponents can only ask the undecided to wait and see.

Well the chances of Tebow having a solid year is better than JFF or Cam. They are/were one hit wonders at this point. Tebow proved he could do it year in year out.
That said. I pick Tebow. Then Cam. Then JFF.

no idea, not to mention tebow lost 4 games his first year as a starter. if my math is correct 4 losses is more than the 2 manziel lost his first season as starter. florida also had a much, much better defense in 2006 and 2008 than a&m did last year or will this year. much better players around tebow as well

So because JFF hasn't had the opportunity to prove he can be consistent from year to year, we necessarily grant a presumption favoring "one hit wonder"?
Why?
In JFF's only year, he obliterated Cam and Tebow's records (save falling short to Tebow in TDs by 8).
He's batting .1000. Your arbitrary injection of this "one hit wonder" inference doesn't change that.

It was it is. He will have the chance to become a two hit wonder this year.
Sorry I made fun of your Johnny football poster above your bed.

So if Manziel becomes just the second player ever to win two Heismans, you'll still label him with a designation that connotes inferiority.
Methinks you just don't care for Manziel.

Two hit wonder was a joke. Of course he will rise above the two others.
Fact is only one of the three I mentioned played for more than one season. That's where I would make my choice.
Sorry to bust your jar. It slipped

Good post.
Tracking their respective careers, JFF clearly is better to this point.
That's the trend that matters.
