It's not clever. It's just a fact. Yall cheated blatantly enough that even in this day and age you had years of wins vacated. That happened. That's reality. Merely wishing you could count those as wins doesn't make it reality.

A&M was 2-9 in bowls as a member of the Big 12 and the wins were in the zombie Bluebonnet Bowl. As a member of the SEC A&M is 6-3 w/wins in the Orange, Cotton, and Peach.
A&M had a losing record in 4 of the last 9 seasons in the Big 12 and only just had the first losing season as an SEC member in year 11.
In the Big 12 A&M finished ranked just 4 times in 16 years w/3 of those under RC Slocum the first 4 years in the conference. 13/11 was the highest A&M finished in '98. In the SEC A&M finished ranked 5 times in 11 years. Two of those were top 5 finishes w/one at #4 and one at #5.
In 16 years of Big 12 play A&M went 113-86 (68-61) for a winning percentage of 56.7% (52.7%) while in 11 years of the SEC A&M has gone 90-49 (48-41) for a winning percentage of 64.7% (53.9%). Like w/the rankings, if you minus out the first 4 years of RC in the Big 12 when he went 22-10 in conference play A&M's conference record drops to an abysmal 46-51.
So yeah, while we have not won the conference it's very much arguable that we have been a much more consistent team that has reached higher peaks and had fewer lows.

So is he saying teams that were decent in the Big 12 can't compete in the SEC? That doesn't sound like a compliment to his conference. Maybe I missed his point.

So Dykes is a moron and it has been well covered how that team last year was a few bounces away from the Alamo Bowl. Still, I will give TCU fans one thing.
This is the second time they have been left behind. They did not make the cut for the Big 12 either, and they had to spend a decade wandering around the WAC, Conference USA, and the Mountain West.
I am sure they are annoyed as hell at having to navigate this process again.
