TCU beat the #2 team in the country.
Then lost to the #1 team in the country.

If you dont like it, argue for the BCS to come back. Because this is how 4 and 12 team playoffs work.

This isn't rocket science.

They moved up. After getting beat by 58.

Complete joke.

You're young, or stupid, or both.

If you think losing by FIFTY EIGHT POINTS, as a now two loss team, ahead of quite a few one loss teams, qualifies you for #2, who barely lost in tight contests, you, sir, are a moron. I don't even want to draw comparisons to the shitty NFC South, but a 58! point loss? That should automatically get you ejected from the top 25 until you win a NY6 bowl.

58 points.

They moved up after beating #2 Michigan and losing to #1 UGA.

I think, and check me, they lost 2 of their last 3 games (one in the worst way possible). And rose in the rankings while they did this..

But there are no politics/regionalism that is at play in the committee.

Also, there is no pressure to legitimize the final rankings of the committee. Nope, none at all.

And I’m old enough to know that when a team loses by over half a hundred points in the championship game and also losing two of their last three games, that said team should definitely not be still sitting at #2 lol.

After that beatdown and losing to a team Bama beat by 25? Maybe Number 10 but damn sure not 2

This was politics pure and simple.

Nebraska got blown out by Miami in the 2002 Rose Bowl. Going into that game they were ranked #2. The final polls had them ranked #8.

The only ranking that matters right now is Ga.
The rest of us have to rebuild regroup and start over next year.
Tennessee is ranked like 6 depending on which poll that you use.
I don’t think any team other than the Champs should be, because we won’t really have the same team playing next year.
I think rankings shouldn’t even matter until after game 6 or 7 then you start getting a picture of which teams to watch out for especially in the SEC

It's like TCU is the new make a wish kid... The committee is trying to find a new power house team because they're bored with same teams...

As has been said, they beat #2 and lost to #1. There is no 1+++ to differentiate UGA from TCU, so we just have to live with what we got.

TCU lost 2 of their last 3 games and never dropped. So they lost to #9 team in the country, but remained #3. Then they beat #2 and lost to #1.

They should have dropped after losing the Big-12 CG, but didn't. Even if they stayed in the CFP, they should have dropped to #4 and had to play Georgia in the 1st round. Hindsight shows that would have been a more logical result.

So why in the ever loving frick did Michigan State drop to 6 after losing to Bama in the semifinals in 2015? According to you, they should have been no worse than 4.

How the frick did Stanford end up #3 when they weren't even in the final four?

2016 Oklahoma lost in the semifinals 31-0 to Clemson and droppped to 6. According to your dumbassery they should'nt have dropped at all. A 3 loss USC team jumped to #3, and they hadn't been in the playoffs at all. A 31 point loss was a nailbiter in comparison to that turd TCU laid.

Young? Stupid? Yeah...my money's on both. You clearly don't know what the frick you're talking about.

Serious question: are you this fricking stupid in real life, or isthis just your message board schtick?

You just keep skimming past that loss in their conference championship game that somehow kept them a three seed. They lose two out of their last three one a beatdown of epic proportions and end up at 2 which cannot be defended.
