He won’t get the extra year. Played five games at Alabama his freshman year, although two of the games he played two snaps.

He would be Buchner 2.0. No way he would beat out Milroe, Simpson, and Sayin. But it doesn’t matter, I think it is Miami or bust for him.

Taulia is much better than buchner. Teams were offering him 1.5 to transfer from Maryland before the year.

He is Maryland’s single-season and all-time leader in both completions and passing yards, also garnering a share of the single-season touchdowns record. This season, Tagovailoa leads the Big Ten in passing yards, passing yards per game, passing touchdowns and completions.
The also is the all time big ten leader in yards

Yes, I watched a few games. The offense is definitely designed around the quarterback. Much like Texas Tech, Hawaii, Washington State, and Houston quarterbacks of old (some of whom were great and some of whom were blah but still put up video game stats) he is largely a product of the system. He is a solid ACC quarterback. In fact, he is so good he is just deciding to forego the NFL by hoping to get an extra year of eligibility so he can transfer. Not because he got a very poor draft projection.
