Nice troll job OP however, just in case a small part of you might be serious, I'd like to address your post by asking you the name of your dealer? I'm asking for a friend.

I HATE 10RC,however, I'm not an idiot. That job is a legit destination job like Auburn and LSU. Arkansas is a stepping stone. Sorry Hogs, it is what it is..

When was the last time a coach used Arkansas as a stepping stone?

I remember that. Was your point that the schools with less pressure to win don't recruit these same kids?

Yes.

Or actually more often a team that wants to climb the ladder (like Baylor), or who suddenly finds it harder to get the kind of player it takes now (Nebraska) signs kids like this.

Arkansas is definitely on par with Tennessee. Tennessee used to be a power just like Army. Things change.
They have a little better recruiting base but that's it.

Plus we don't fire our coach before the end of the season.

Tennessee has had to hire their 4th choice twice in a row now.

If Tennessee is such a good program then why did they have to hire Derek Dooley and Butch Jones?

now lets try the other foot. if Arky is so strong how are they such epic failures when they hired a winning coach?

face it, UT's recruiting woes were largely due to the shite coaching hires they made. Arky historically has trouble recruiting top shelf talent regardless of the staff because they are in freaking Arkansas.

With the exception of Jack Crowe and Houston Nutt.

Are you putting Butch on the same level as Jack Crowe?

Guess you're right.. A stepping stone implies that the job can lead to other bigger gigs. No coach has ever moved on directly from that job to bigger and better things. I was actually trying to give you guys the benefit of the doubt.. LOL

The retarded are comparing programs, not jobs. Tennessee is a better program, with a higher ceiling. Arkansas is a better job.

Not going to say Arkansas is squeaky clean, but Arkansas doesn't play the recruit game anywhere close to the level that many in the SEC do. I'm fine with that. Fans want to think that their reputation only extends to dominance and championships, but it doesn't.

Bert was a winning coach at Wisconsin because he inherited a very nice situation. That's the only massive failure we've had in the last 2 decades-ish.

I'd say the programs were dead even when butch and Bert were hired, but we've sucked arse for 5 years while Tenner has had a couple decent seasons. Doesn't sound like much but with arky fans' current level of apathetic-ness and with our slow arse roster and Jack to show for our seasons since the motorcycle crash, I'd think tenner is a better job right now.
