False. Tennessee is an infinitely better job/program.

You are clearly struggling with your Arkansas/Houston Nutt history.
Yes he resigned. But he was "embattled" as your column indicated. Arkansas fans FOIA'ed his phone records and were going batshit crazy. His firing was imminent.

Lol my god a lot of people are trying very hard ITT

Not traditionally, but the gap isn't as wide as some would suggest on here.
Tennessee won't get a top tier coach. They haven't in their last 3 searches. Unless you are a UT fan who things Gruden is top tier, then maybe.

In today's world EVERY coach's firing is imminent if he stays long enough.

Arky historically has trouble recruiting top shelf talent regardless of the staff because they are in freaking Arkansas.
I know, we should move to the Big 12 if they'll take us. I've been saying this for years.

Guess you're right.. A stepping stone implies that the job can lead to other bigger gigs. No coach has ever moved on directly from that job to bigger and better things. I was actually trying to give you guys the benefit of the doubt.. LOL
Sometimes stepping stones are used on the way down.

Why do people say A&M is such a great program? Is there potential and resources, yes, but what coach has been able to win consistently there? Until someone proves it can be done, they are nothing more than a program that can potentially be great.

No such thing as the "big 6" anymore

We will see this off-season who has the best job. No need to speculate.

TN sucks, Florida sucks. The best coaching gig in America is in Starkville, MS.
