Any stats that don't fit the desired narrative are obviously fake. Duh.

So Bama players cheat more than 2.5 times than the average team. Makes sense

It is how many are not called at key points in big games. Do that analysis, how many holding or penalties in general does alabama have when they are playing top flight SEC competition. I hypothesis you will see a distinct drop in penalties.

Alabama doesn't get the hold calls as a way to even out the totals so it's not as blatantly obvious how screwed the other team was.

In other words, just do the LSU games.

Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics...

You can find statistics to support nearly any point you want to make, so long as you narrow the scope of what you are evaluating.

Look now. I’m not the one brought up the stats showing Bama has an overrated front 7. In just making sense of them.

What other totals? Bama was dead last in fewest opponent penalty yards each of the last 2 years.

Why don’t you do it? Since you’re one of the ones making the accusations that go against what the other numbers say.

Such as a pick play on the last play of the national championship game?

I ain't no statistical genius. And maybe I am missing something. But how are you measuring the number of times holding SHOULD have been called versus how many times it WAS called?

The refs are clairvoyant evil geniuses. They know exactly how the game is gonna go, and exactly when to make the wrong call to swing momentum

It’s not looking at how many times it “should’ve been” called. It’s looking at how many times it WAS called. Michigan’s and especially Alabama’s opponents rarely have offensive holding penalties called against them when playing either of the two teams.

I'd like to see an efficiency metric, like expected points added by penalties. Alabama gets the most timely penalties in america.

Right. I see a subpar line. You see biased refs. I get ya.

Remember the two championship games against Clemson. Somehow Clemson ran 184 plays against the best DL in football over a 2 year span. 0 holding penalties. Yet against the likes of Wake Forest and Troy- 10 holding penalties.

Go figure...

Do you legitimately believe Alabama has a below average line in all of CFB for most of the last few years?
