What he is saying is a fact. Alabama spots everybody an officials edge. Just a matter of fact and is proven not by BS but by facts and statistics. Alabama opponents for years have been the least or among the bottom in the country in penalty yards. And holding calls. And we generally have 1 or 2 drafted (some extremely high) defensive linemen. But that's ok since we are used to it, expect it and understand why it is. And opponents need every break.

Just basing it off of facts laid out by the statistics in original post.

All this says is that Bama and Michigan get called for holding a lot.
Could that be because
drum roll
they hold a lot?
In other news, shite stinks. An additional report reveals that people in prison tend to be charged with crimes.
Bama holds every play. It gets away with it most plays. It gets caught a lot because it holds constantly.

Yes or no. Do you believe Bama has a below average line (at highest 60-65th best in the nation) for most of the last few years?

You can’t read. This is about Bama’s and Michigan’s opponents rarely having offensive holding penalties called against them (as in the opponents of Bama and Michigan not the two teams themselves) despite both having mostly solid lines.
It says nothing about which teams commit the most holding.

I've never actually seen Bama called for a hold. This must be urban legend ...

I hope to God you're not a real judge.

If this is the level at which you interpret data, I sincerely hope you aren't actually a judge.

Belief has no place in statistical analysis. Now you’re just trying to add nonsensical data into the equation.

Coming from the guy who is saying Bama’s DLs are below average out of 125-130 teams. But I know you don’t actually think that. You just can’t admit it otherwise you’d have to turn in your LSU fan card.
Btw if you actually want stats, the FEI ratings (which the article uses) has Bama’s DL top 7 in the nation every year since 2014.

Is that the same algorithm they use to give Florida a 58% chance to beat us Saturday?

That ESPN’s FEI. This is Football Outsider’s FEI. They don’t use it for predictions.

I’m really just wondering how upset Bama fans will get if someone thinks their team is lacking.

ITT: People who either don't understand the data listed or deliberately misinterpret the data.
