They saying Moorhead is out win or lose the Eggbowl and Chizik will be new coach. The fanboys are beside themselves.

Chizik sucks. He had one good year all due to Cam Newton.
I have a hard time believing we fire Moorhead if he beats OM and gets us to a bowl. Mainly due to the fact it will look bad for a program like ours to fire a coach in year two that took us to back to back bowls.
I’m not a huge Moorhead fan but I would be pissed if we did this. If we fire him we better have a damn good coach in the waiting, and Cheesedick ain’t it

Chizik just might be genius for State. He's proven he'll cheat recruiting and face it if you ain't cheating at State you ain't winning. He holds a post graduate degree from his days at AU in that fine art. So he'll hit the ground running on that front.
And he is well respected by a bunch of coaches giving his high profile so putting a championship staff together shouldn't be a problem. And he has won some games at places where he overachieved. Plus he is a guy who will re-instate hard nosed, physical SEC football to a school that lost it's way with a PSU hire.

Chiz is a great choice. Defense first. He will get an OC that is in the Joe Brady mold. Can recruit. Solid choice.
Chiz downfall was Gus. Aubies can say what they want, but Gus is all or nothing with his offense. He left Chiz with an offense that had 0 and didn’t have personnel to convert to anything else. If Gus left Auburn next week, it would take them 3 years to rebuild and recover due to his recruiting for his offense.

I love Mississippi State! I hope they keep Moorhead, and I hope their sorority girls keep shifting all over campus. It’s the right thing to do in Starkville Mississippi.
