Arkansas is doing pretty well in NIL, memes about our AD being tone deaf aside. So this isn't sour grapes.
But the NIL situation is beyond screwed up. At the very least there should be caps, like in pros. But in all honesty, it should be a collective pot distributed equally to all players in a conference. The star QB isn't a star without his offensive line. It takes an entire team for the few stars to be able to become stars. This business of throwing millions of dollars at kids in their early twenties is terrible for everyone involved.

Justy your schools actions however you need too. Yall have been pulling the moral high ground for years. It’s bullshite and framing the narrative and is exactly why your alumni base refuses to support NIL. It’s not doing it the “right way”. When yall cheated just like everyone else in the SEC.

I think you guys and Mizzou should join the big 10 or acc.

hope the big 12 coach in Lebby understands that disregarding the defensive side of the ball will not work in this conference. If he doesn't he's a dead man walking. He's made some lazy hires and recruiting/portal choices on that side of the ball.
Can you expand on this?
And talk about where your nil stands.

It’s kind of ironic that Rosebowl weirdo put all of this into action. If not for Rosebowl we don’t get Kiffin.
Thank you to Rosebowl and the douchebag Tupelo lawyer (who was often overheard in public bragging about how he was going to “bring Ole Miss down.”) We couldn’t have done this without you.
Maybe he can write another book.
This is the truth. Know many a State fan and they are good people. But they ate up Muffins bullshite and started following a tatted up wannabe rock star that traded one addiction for another, investigating Ole Miss. So I hate it for the average MSU fan but their blind devotion to Roseblow brought on this karma.

I bet Selmon returns to OU. Miss State was just a trial run for him. Wouldn’t surprise me if he takes Joe C’s place.

So just to summarize the Ole Miss narrative in this thread:
-Ole Miss has always been a championship level team… MSU just held you back from the 1960’s to present day because of snitching to the NCAA.
-All Ole Miss fans are inviting and pleasant to MSU fans… but most MSU fans are assholes to Ole Miss fans.
-No MSU investigation has ever been initiated or aided by Ole Miss admin or alumni.. but every Ole Miss investigation was initiated or aided by MSU admin or alumni.
-Every single drop of toxicity between Ole Miss and MSU lands squarely on the shoulders of Dan Mullen and Dan Mullen only… including said toxicity before and after he left.
-MSU only fired Joe Morehead due to Lane Kiffin and absolutely not because players were fighting each other and off the field issues were at a boiling point.
-MSU is the only team in the state that has douchebag fan site writers. Anything else we need to accept and correct?
-MSU fans are too “uppity” and need to emulate the down to earth Ole Miss fans who are all down to earth and realistic.

Let me be the first to apologize to the other teams fans for MSU fans acting so holier than thou and above the fray when any short term success has been achieved. We sorry

I admire this about Ole Miss. As someone who has lived extensively in Alabama and Mississippi, I shock my Alabama friends when I tell them that Ole Miss has everything in place to be Alabama in football. The difference is while Auburn always turns their head because they are probably doing the same thing, State is a bunch of snitches and have historically kept Ole Miss below where they should be.
NIL and transfer portal era - Ole Miss is about to roll. All the pieces have always been in place. Ole Miss doesn't have as large of a fanbase as Alabama, but they are just as committed to excellence

They’re horrible man. Take it from your OU peer and cut bait with Lebby tomorrow. He is a second rate coordinator that benefited from Kiffin’s genius. Had no business getting an SEC head coaching gig.

Hang in there, State. Hope things get better for you after this season

Not to worry - we have to start our back-up QB Arch again this week... According to most posters on this board, the kid is just a 3 star who got where he is because he happens to have a famous last name...

Now is the perfect time for them to pull an upset:

State fans show up and show out as to who they really are. Little brother gonna little brother. Keep on proving my point.
Here’s an actual truism: Ole Miss fans care less about State now than they ever have. And it’s not necessarily that they all want State to fail. It’s just that the Ole Miss football program is on a totally different level and trajectory than State’s.
Things may change in the future. But the NCAA isn’t answering State’s phone calls about recruiting violations anymore. They deleted and blocked State’s number. The Grove Collective can pay players, and we’re picking up the better ones and paying them what is required to build a playoff team. Like Doc Holliday said to Johnny Ringo in Tombstone: “And this time… it’s legal.”

I'm a State alum, season ticket holder, and Bulldog Club member for 25 years, and I don't personally(not internet idiots) know one State fans who cares for Rosebowl. He's an embarrassment and we all make fun of him.

Yeah but you seem like a reasonable, intelligent, thoughtful guy. And you probably hang around with similar people.
The average State fan loves the guy. And they were absolutely eaten up with Mullen and the TSUN crap. He brought so much acrimony into the rivalry. What a creepy douche.
