State Fans - Rose or Sugar?

Barring total disaster you guys are in. Where would you rather go Rose or Sugar? Sugar means your fans wouldn't have to go far and could really pack the Dome. The Rose Bowl is however really a rare slot historically for an SEC team. Bama would no longer be able to say they were the only ones to be invited there.

Sugar without a doubt.

is this a real question?

Uh... Auburn was just there earlier this year, but Bama is still the only ones to win there.

Auburn played in the Rose Bowl less than 365 days ago amigo

IF we keep this up, I live in New Orleans. I want the Sugar.
On the other hand, I would make the trip to Cali.

They would go to the Sugar Bowl.

Auburn played in the Rose Bowl Stadium like UCLA does every home game, not the Rose Bowl.

Sugar....no doubt.
Would be fun with maroon and cowbells in the French Qtr. New Orleans NYE > Pasadena NYE.
plus already have rooms reserved just in case.

I would opt for whichever provided the easier path to Arlington.

Georgia (43) and Tennessee (40) also played in it.

1. Auburn was in the BCSCG, not the Rose Bowl.
2. Georgia won it in 43.

Now with the playoff in effect would a SEC Team be invited to the Rose Bowl? I would think that an SEC probably would play in the Sugar Bowl because of distance and travel?

Sugar because I can drive there, it's cheaper and New Orleans is more fun than Pasedena.

#1 will get the bowl closest to them.
Edit: The semifinal games should be on the campuses of #1 and #2 imo.

The Rose Bowl setting is my favorite by a long shot, if you have extra time to spare, it's the best bowl destination anywhere. But, being in N.O. on NYE would top anything.
