Wow, this is a novel topic

I'd still take the roller coaster ride over wallowing in mediocrity, but to each his own.

We probably would have won in OT at home with a shitload of momentum as well.

Bama was dog shite tired on defense at the end of that game. That is why Saban wanted the second and the FG opportunity. He did not want that game to go to OT.

There’s also the fact that Alabama has never beaten a top ten ranked Auburn team.

So correlation says that yes, if Auburn wins Saturday, the Iron Bowl is an automatic win.

At the time of the game, or final ranking? Because Alabama beat a #7 ranked AU team in 1985. AU finished #14. Also beat a #6 AU team in 1994. AU finished ranked #9 in 1994.

Sorry but this is False Information.

1971 was one of several examples. You were #5 and we stomped you 31-7

I do know its going to be lit as hell in JHS Saturday though

Was there some reason to believe that it wouldn't be, had there been a lighting issue before? Was it electrical?

If so, you better hope it gets fixed. Georgia enjoys a blackout game ... occasionally

That's a nice observation. Thanks for keeping it short and sweet. Not tl;dr.
TRant crack analysis team is on it and will respond accordingly.

Another stat....

Auburn record before the Georgia and Alabama games.

07 - AU 7-3 L/W (Saban's 1st year. Bama was as mess)
08 - AU 5-5 L/L
09 - AU 7-3 L/L
10 - AU 9-0 W/W
11 - AU 6-3 L/L
12 - AU 2-7 L/L
13 - AU 9-1 W/W
14 - AU 7-2 L/L
15 - AU 5-4 L/L
16 - AU 7-2 L/L
17 - AU 7-2 ?

When Auburn has a least 9 wins before the games, they beat Georgia & Bama.

This year, they go into the games with 7 wins.

So Auburn is either really good or really bad and we are inconsistent. Man, you are some kind of super genius. How did you figure this out? Did your mamma have you in the gifted classes in school?

He got confused with his facts.

That is because you rarely have 10 win seasons

More fake news.

Bama beat Auburn in 1974 17-13. 1974 is one of Auburn's 10-win seasons.

Thank god Auburn has 7 wins. We were close to having this game played at 11am if they didn't get each of those wins.
