The only 2 times AU beat both in the same year they went on to the NC game, but did they’d already have 2 losses when they got to the UGA game?

I see AU posing a challenge, but I don’t see them winning out. This is definitely CGMs chance to shut folks up, we’ll see if he can get it done.

You have to give Auburn credit for their "amen corner" though. Playing your two biggest rivals back to back has got to be taxing mentally and physically. I would not want Bama to play Tennessee or LSU right before the Iron Bowl. Even with the cup cake game that both Bama and AU have now before the IB, that "amen corner" is a tough task to take on imho.

There’s also the fact that Alabama has never beaten a top ten ranked Auburn team.

That's a myth.

Bama's record against top 10 AU: 5-13 28%

AU's record against top 10 Bama: 8-27 23%

So Bama's record against top 10 AU is better than AU's record against top 10 Bama. Note that coming into that game Bama has been top 10 35 times, AU 18 times.

Bama has never defeated us when Auburn has won 10 games a year.

Well, I mean, y’all have only had thirteen 10 win seasons buddy, whereas we’ve had 38.

AND, not to burst your bubble even more, but y’all won 10 games in 1974, and we beat y’all in the Iron Bowl 17-13. So, while it is rare, we HAVE beaten y’all during one of y’all’s 10 win seasons
