What are you hearing about your coaching search?

also lived in that area for about 2 yrs. loganville/snellville area. was way back in the early 2000's though, when it was still a pleasant place to live and just starting to build up. UGA alums were the worst.

Ur dumb as hell if you think OM would allow him to stay around and coach us if he takes the FL job. You gotta be a special kinda retarted to even make that up to pretend like you heard it.
I feel sure...if given a choice most fans would rather roll into the playoffs with an interim coach and get our brakes beat off than have Kiffin stay and give us a shot at winning it all...then going to FL.

Must be hard going through life never seeing your team win a natty.
By comparison, I suspect that your low IQ has a major impact upon your life, on a daily basis. You know, things like needing others to tie your shoes for you,

It’s remarkable and incredibly annoying he has found out how to post here considering his noticeable disadvantages in life.

This would be the ultimate slap in the face but totally on brand for Kiffin.
I still think Bama beats Clemson if Lane hadn't have disappeared that game. Steve Sarkisian did his best but we lost on the last play of the game with one of our most talented roster.
I think it's one reason Lanes name never has or will be considered for the Bama job.

Hopefully Lane has matured a small bit, but I wouldn't put 1 dollar on it.

Well yeah. Why would he be allowed to stay and recruit his players for several weeks?
Makes total sense. Respect to Ole Miss if yall actually go through with a new contract ultimatum. You force the issue now. Immediately name an interim and talk to the players. Have a short list of guys ready to make a quick hire. Even better if you just go ahead and name Pete Golding as head coach immediately after forcing Lane to resign. Then you have coaches in place playing with house money in the playoffs. A much better chance at keeping recruits and current players out of the portal.
Meanwhile Lane gets the public embarrassment and ridicule. Key members of his staff who stay for promotions on Goldings staff need to be replaced. A large chunk of the best players stay back at ole miss with their old position coaches, forcing Lane to the portal to find players in a year poised to be the most cutthroat yet. All while Lane’s family has to deal with the backlash from fans.
Do it Ole Miss. Make him either sign the deal or turn himself into a laughing stock who doesn’t get to coach his team in the playoffs

Football affair that is.

OM may never get another shot at the playoff. Especially considering the fact that the SEC is changing the scheduling format next year. It’s surprising to me that so many OM fans just want to tank the playoff this year because of pride. This is your one shot.

I think Ole Miss may have decided they don't want Lane coaching the playoffs if he is leaving like said above. He will definitely coach the playoff if they let him. You can't blame Ole Miss for moving on though.

Florida st
Didn’t get into the playoffs in 2023 because their best player was hurt. The logic was that there was no way FSU could compete.
OM shouldn’t get in without Lane for the same reason.

Ole Miss would kill someone if they pulled that.
