Maybe so, but their offense looked hideous no matter what QB they had back there.
I wonder why the hell Bowling Green hired him for a head coach.. Claussen that is..

Tyson Lee is a very good quarterback but unfortunately, it doesn't work in the SEC being under 6 feet tall with 6'6" defensive lineman, it just doesn't work. He will start but the incoming Freshman (Tyler Russell is 6' 5") will be playing before the end of the season.

Have no idea. Maybe he is great, but their offense really tanked when Cut left. Maybe it is combined with the fact Ainge left. But, Cut was a good OC no matter what.

If you really think Tyler Russel will save that program you are wrong. I have seen him play in person 4 times. He is not all world at all and I dont think he'll come in this year unless its a blowout in one teams favor.

I really like the Tyson Lee kid. Dude has lots of heart and gives his all.

Russell will have to really be a gamebreaker to take his spot IMO.

I met LSU TE Richard Dickson recently and was shooting the breeze with him and he said personally he liked Lee as QB better said he had a better spiral to catch than Jefferson.

The defensive players have said the same thing.

Personally I dont think that Lee is that bad of a QB, just needs to study and work on his reads...but hey, he was a RSF, LSU fans are so harsh on him.

Wonder how they've treated him on campus??

There's no doubt he has the arm and potential but his decision making and mechanics were terrible last year. That's definitely what he needs to work on most.

that will come with age, there is a huge difference in Texas high school football than starting in the sec as a redshirt freshman saying all that i believe Jefferson has the potential to be a great tiger qb.

He is a very good high school quarterback. Beyond most here in this state anyway. Don't know how that equates to college and especially the SEC but if Mullen is going to come in here and run a spread type offense, we have to have a spread type quarterback. He is closer to that than Lee. I don't expect him to save the program. The program will either die on the vine or grow under Mullen. We have way more needs at MSU than just qb. Hopefully, he can help the situation.

Mallet is not a lock. My guess is it will be Tyler Wilson by mid-season.

Mallet is one of the most over rated QBs in the country right now. He was only 43% at Michigan and against decent defenses he was something like 25%. Chad Henne was 60% as a freshman 4 years prior against much of the same schedule.

Apparently you are an expert on Razorback QB’s. How many times have you watched the Hogs practice? Also, have you shared your expert insights with Petrino? That’s what I thought. You’re nothing but a douche bag and probably use one.

choctaw, no. I haven't. But, Mallet is no where near as good as fans think he is right now. Tyler had a much better spring and Tyler is a project right now too.

RM is a couple steps back from Casey Dick. He might ultimately have the tools to be better, but it's gonna take time.

Your 1st sentence says it all and that's all I need to know. I've personally seen him several times and I have 1st and 2nd hand reports as to his skills on the field and his ability to read defenses. You’re foolish if you don't think Mallet will start all season at the U of A but I’m certain Wilson will get some time as well. That’s called developing depth at Quarterback.

Also, a few weeks ago there was a NFL analyst discussing Mallet's potential in the NFL on a local sports radio show. I don't remember his name but I've heard him many times on the radio and TV and he flat out said that Mallet will be one of the top QB’s taken when he decides to come out whether it's this year or in two years. But, what the hell does an NFL analyst know compared to an expert like you?

Dear God,

Please let Jonathan Crompton be set in stone. I promise I'll be good for a couple of hours tomorrow if you do this for me.

Sincerely,

I truely believe he will be a solid coach.

I think his system would've needed a few years to really get going, and he didn't have a few years.

He didn't have the players, or the control of the offense last year.

My roommate said he saw him by the mini mart before Christmas break. Said Lee was looking around fearfully like he didn't want to be recognized. He's probably not like that now though

Jefferson and Shepherd is going to be a dual action threat.
