The ABC games are flexed the same way NBC does Sunday Night Football. They did it with us in 08. Late season game against the Warriors was moved from early evening to noon for the national telecast

Rick Flair did the player intros that game :pimp:

Please remember in this discussion, folks, that Noel was the player the Sixers wanted, therefore he was selected by the Pelicans. It's unlikely New Orleans would have chosen Noel. With a great need for a small forward, there was a player such as Giannis Antetokounmpo who went 15th to the Bucks or center Mason Plumlee who went 22nd to Brooklyn, either of whom could have piqued the Pelicans' interest. Noel was not the Pelicans' pick.
I love hindsight. does he really think we would've taken one of those two with the 6th pick? he dumb

I think they were gonna take Burke if the trade hadn't happened. Seemed like everything we heard leading into the draft pointed to that

Just playing devil's advocate, there are a couple of folks out there with Louisiana, and New Orleans, connections who might be available for hire this summer: Joe Dumars and Avery Johnson.

Why do the guys at the times-pic always bring up and emphasize that a guy is from New Orleans? This is an NBA team, not a political campaign, their hometown means nothing
A coach told me that high schools will usually have slight differences from the logo they imitate to avoid copyright or trademark fees. I was looking at a school that had the Arkansas logo, but the razorback had green eyes at the school
Think the Fox schedule is set, but the last 2-3 weeks are tba. ESPN usually has flex scheduling once June or July hit

I've seen stuff, man
actually looks like a pelican and he doesn't look like he wants to eat children
funny how the Bourbon Street Shots guys fell for it and McNamera freaked out. Had a Fletcher-esque back track after he realized it was fake
don't think that'll count. Surprised Evans gave it up with that little time
Has Morrow gotten on the floor at all during the fourth?
Why are they letting Aminu take long jumpers? He had a long two and three point attempt, hardly his strong suit
Rob Ryan wearing a Davis jersey
Even though he doesn't know much about basketball
Clipper halftime crew said something like "free throw percentages are about even."
I think even they can't believe the disparity
I can't believe how good this team has looked for the first 10 minutes of each quarter and how horrible they've looked in the last two minutes of each quarter :banghead:
What was with the 4-guard lineup? Does Monty not trust Amundson or Withey? Seemed odd

This is the word on Burke "he isn't faster, more athletic or a better shooter than Greivis, but if he is he could give us options"

Who he's quoting is another issue entirely, but the implication by using "us" in the quote is that it's a team source.

I saw that and I'm not even sure what it means. The semi-contradictoryness of it reminds me of something Les Miles would say

Berman isn't great but to accept everything else about ESPN, even Bayless over Berman is crazy talk

I actually like the guy before, but hadn't seen him in a while then I saw him this past weekend and he was just awful. Dude wouldn't shut up about squares and rectangles.

He lost his fastball when ESPN lost Sunday Night Football, and by extension NFL Primetime. I used to skip the end of the late games to catch the beginning of it and then watch it again the next day when I got home from school. Old school NFL Primetime was one of the best shows on ESPN
Those pregame shows were painful. Stephen Howard never looked comfortable on air. I was glad FOX 8 did most of the halftime stuff. Chad Sabadie talking about NOLA sports was way better than anything we would have seen FSNO do
