re: just one thought on Saban....

I wonder if he'd ever try to go to WV? Schedule an SEC game. Win the big east. I wonder if he would ever want to coach and see if he could win big at a place that's never won before. I realize WV won though.

I do not think Saban likes the south or Southern Politics. I changed my mind about 3 years. I think he'll be after 2 more years. I actually think he'll take over at Penn State. Football is big there but there is more going on there too. a small % of the population cares anything about college football. In Bama, that's all you folks care about. It gets under his skin. He needs a change of scenary and he'll pursue it I think.

I think he's got about 3 more years, or 1 more after an NC year.

I think he wants to win an NC at 3 different schools.

There's too much he doesn't like about the South and the Alabama expectations. Alabama people have nothing in their lives other than Alabama football to entertain them. The more he does for the hardcore Bama fan, the more the Bama fan wants. He's fed the monster too big and it's about to be too much pressure for him. YOu can sense it in how he talks. You can feel it in his anger and loss of temper of simple media questions after a close win.

do you disagree with something I said? how did I turn in to an asswhip all the sudden?

It's always funny how I say something that makes total sense, but goes against the casual fan, then I'm an asswhip. That's entertainment
it might be that Mullen and Chizik are better coaches as well. Mullen almost won with a zastly undertalented team this year. Probabaly should have. Chizik is a great defensive mind so we'll have to see what he can do.

like your a loser looking for attention b/c you don't have a life and your obsessed with me.

just one thought on Saban....

like most coaches, he sounds like he does not like doing this radio show.

I wonder if he could get in his next contract with Penn State, or Notre Dame, or whoever, that one stipulation is fewer media obligations and speaking engagements with no 1 hour a week call-in show.

You can bet that's one exclusion he'll be looking for.
well its starts out with the fact that everything I've said on here somehow you can recollect. So either you've saved my posts to your harddrive or you have a great memory where I'm concerned. Either way, I'm somewhat flattered you are that much obsessed with me, or maybe a little creeped out. Probabaly a little of both.

Then, for some reason you try to take me to task every chance you get. Every time I get something wrong, you have it all saved up. yea, I thought somewhere along the way Arkansas would lose a game they shouldn't. They do every year as do most teams. Look at college football the last few years. Every heavy favorite loses a game somewhere they shouldn't. Ok it didn't happen to Arkansas this year like I thought it would. I'm still $130,000 richer at betting games the last 7 years than you. when you were the one that thought Georiga was going to lose to Arkansas, I was the one telling you I was putting 5 thousand on the game b/c the line was WAY OFF. I also said the morning handicap show would lead off saying this was the game to bet, b/c the odds makers went to sleep. Guess I was right. Guess I was 5 thousand richer.

So, I want you to stay out of my posts. I'm not the type to say DIAF just b/c someone doesn't agree with my side. But, you really waste too much of my time and you don't know the game or the SEC well enough. All you do is add stupid questions and takes that sort of fricks up what I'm in the process of doing. Oh how does those 2 arse kickings by Dale feel? How does Dale raking in a top 20 class this year while Petrino is top 35 feel? How does him stealing soo much talent out of Arkansas feel? How does the fact that Dyer was practically chased away by a rock of a personality for a coach feel? Get use to losing bro. B/c when Dales talent is gone Petrino will be the next Hal Mummy bc he can't recruit. Enjoy your pathetic basketball season and 4,000 per nite at big bad bud walton. Or, what once was big and bad.
I think it's always been somewhat poor but a few real bad calls this year have magnified things and made more people take notice.

You just try to hope if a bad call is made against you eventually they'll make a bad call against them to even it out. I'm not so sure it's a conspiracy for them to put 1 team over the other. But who knows, it could be. Sort of like the WWF. It would make sense but How does the original guy that wants to do that relay that message to others for fear of getting caught?
I didn't say half that stupid shite or your too dumb to figure out what was said or meant.

You don't know jack shite about football just like all these other losers. Yea, I was wrong about a few things, no doubt. I'm right alot more often than I'm wrong and that's why I've made a ton of money betting.

re: Rank SEC Coaches as of 11-25-09

how can you base it on one season.

Here is the best coaches in the SEC based on who I would have to build a program in their prime

Nutt
Saban
Spurrier
Brooks

Johnson
Petrino
Kiffen
Mullen
chizic

Meyer
Miles (I seen all I needed satruday, then his reaction)
Richt.

The last 3 guys are probabaly the worst coaches in the league based on my 5 criteria.
I can't see Dale losing to Arkansas.

Ole Miss will beat Arkansas next year. Arkansas won't have the talent in the front 7 to stop the mighty mississippi run game
I know what is in the pipeline in Arkansas' recruiting and you might get 1 or 2 other 4 stars, but a better chance Cam Feldt is the only 4 you get.

Dale will end up with about 6 to 8.

Get ready for the shite to hit the fan as your "Dale can't recruit" theory gets flushed down the toilet. Get ready for another Colonel Dale arse kicking in 2010 in your own house again. It's gonna be epic. The entertainment value of the reaction of the fans is premium entertainment. NO matter if Dale is just winning, snagging the Brishen Mathews, Byran Jones, and Jesse Grandy's out of Arkansas, or going to better bowls. Extravagant entertainment.
big pick up b/c he's suppose to enroll next semester meaning he'll go through spring. If you can get 2 quality years instead of 1 learning year 1 quality year out of a guy like that it's worth it. Some coaches in this league recruit juco's who arrive and get cleared during fall camp. LAZY, IRRESPONSIBLE RECROOTING.
This situation is starting to remind me of Arkansas in the mid 2000's. Nutt had 5-11 two year conference stretch and the fans wanted him out. Understand, recruiting to and winning at Arkansas is much harder than Lsu so 5-11 is about like your 08 and 09. Arkansas has about as much NFL talent as Kentucky.

Fans were so upset they could not be happy with the fact that the rebuilding those years resulted in a 7-1 conference record and west title the 06 year. Not many SEC programs have ever gone 7-1 especially a bottom feeder. Before you start causing alot of problems and negativety for the program, assess poor clock management for what it is, which rarely loses a game anyway. Arkansas fans ran Nutt off to a division rival and ended up hoping to hire a career assistant before Petrino fell in their lap.

If you are not 100% sure who your coach might be, hang on to the man you know can recruit and you know can win you a national championship.
look up the % of 50 yard field goals on the road in the SEC since 2000.

What are the chances of making a 50 yarder vs a 35 yarder? What are the chances the fanbase just can't ACCEPT THE FACT THAT the coach played it conservative settling for a 50 yarder when he could have completed a pass?
Everyone is criticizing the strategy of Miles to try to throw some passes from the 32. Lsu people now suggest they wanted to run the ball. They lost about 18 yards on 2 negative plays knocking them out of field goal range.

My question is if you run it up the middle for no gains (only had 40 rush yards the whole game)and a screen was just sniffed out for a big loss, and all 3 tailbacks are hurt, and your kicker narrowly misses at 49 yard field goal, aren't you criticizing Miles for not trying to pick up 10 yards in the air? What if Miles says after the game that he did not want to throw the ball in that situation b/c he had no confidence in avoiding the sack which would have pushed it out of fieldgoal range? Aren't you saying, "come on where's your guts"

Lsu fans, you can't have your cake and eat it to. Les was in a no win situation
most things went against Ole Miss. The refs tried to take them out of the game early. They should have been up 10-0 instead of down 3-7.

Look at the yardage stats. Ole Miss owned that football game. Nutt owns Lsu's coaching staff
your theory is way off base. One game does not decide which coach is better. Meyer has been at his post longer and has had time to build a stronger program b/c there is more talent in his geographical area.

What Saban does is a blue print with variations of what some of the most successful NFL coaches of all time have done. What Meyer does is basically a new-wave highschool thing
