I can't stand her but "currently" if there's a better women's basketball coach I would like to hear it.
They have made 6 straight final fours and 3 straight NCs.
Obviously it's Geno overall but she's right there

Kim Mulkey is current.
Yes, Dawn has a better record vs LSU, but she's had nearly 20 years to build S Carolinas program. Mulkey has been at LSU for 5 years.
Mulkey has a better coaching record 764-124 (vs 612-186) and has one more title. She raised Baylor from nothing and did the same at LSU. They both have 3 titles in the last 15 years.

I’ve never thought of Dawn as a thug. She grew up in Philly, played at UVA for Debbie Ryan. Went to 3 final fours and was national POY twice. Debbie was a tough coach, as was John Chaney who also mentored Dawn and helped shape her as a coach. Her coaches and mentors instilled qualities such as discipline, teamwork, commitment, excellence, and execution. Doesn’t surprise me that she demands the same from her program and why it’s successful.

Try...last seasons cancellation [by staley] of the game vs. BYU because un-named BYU players/staff supposedly said something/something racist. Staley NEVER explained who/what/why/where and also NEVER apologized. Not a shred of 'evidence' of any racist remarks/actions ! Media NEVER followed up with the issue in ANY way ! Have to lend 'cover' to the black female, at all costs ...lol

4 finals in 5 years. Losing sucks but credit to UCLA they were damn good and probably would have smashed anyone.
Staley was humble in the loss, and credited all of UCLA unlike Geno who threw a temper tantrum.

Living in an area with a heavy mormon population you do realize that their religion is racist. So spare me with the internal investigation returning no results. Of course BYU isn't going to come out and say someone said something racist.
