Honest question here for the real experts on our baseball team. Are we seeing a lack of leadership, and if so, is it mainly due to having more transfer guys this year than ever? Talent level not where it was expected? Is Jay tinkering or is he frustrated? I fully expected somewhat of a rebuilding year after winning it all last year, but something seems way different this year.

I remember losing every ( or almost every) mid-week game and still winning a Natty. Do well in conference, get a top 8 seed and win in Omaha. All that matters.

Nope, it should be an 8 team playoff. Top 2 teams from each P4 conference and no at large. G5 teams develop their own playoff system. Yes, I know that would have still put Bama in due to them being SEC runner up based on tie-breakers in conference. If ND wants to make the playoffs, join a damn conference. This isn't the 60's and 70's anymore.

You know that's why they made the playoffs, right? On brand name only, and the SEC living in the past thinking the old Bama would show up and win the natty again for the SEC. That ship sailed. Bama ain't it anymore.
