If you really stop and think about it, what Auburn has been able to do during bamas run has been remarkable

Kevin Steele gave up just about as many last year with a bunch of NFL guys on the defensive front. Ellis didn't have anything to work with. A sophomore Monty Adams and......Ladarius Owens? Cassanova McKinzey? Trovon Reed? Jonathan Mincy? Not a lot of NFL dudes in that starting unit in 2014.

This is true but Steele’s teams are more disciplined. No telling how many times we tackled the ball carrier out of bounds with Ellis. Tend to not miss as many tackles either.

I don’t know. How does FCS Georgia Southern rush for 400 yards against a defense that had probably 16 draft picks of the 2-deep roster? shite happens

Everyone accepted that was due to the bone and it was the week before the IB. But those 630 yards was against your biggest rival.

1 was a Alabama Choke.

1 was a miracle

1 was when our entire defense was hurt.

Don't throw logic in their fantasies. It confuses them and makes them punch their kids.

Y'all are still going with the Kick return being worth 34 points I see.

You mean "1 was Bama busted for stealing calls at halftime". It was either Saban suddenly making every right call to suddenly not making any good calls or Gus changing the signals mess up Bama's game plan.

If we are going to just make up stuff, so was our entire offense.

I mean if you dont think Bama being down to their 3rd string at both MLBs, 2nd string at both OLB, Minkah Fitzpatrick playing with a pulled hamstring, Da'Shawn Hand playing on a knee that was less than 50% and Hootie Jones getting hurt in the game is a big deal then you are dumb.

Three in 9 years.

Not sure which is more embarrassing. That Saban is only winning .667 against Auburn or that Auburn fans are in this thread bragging about being .333 against their rival. Congrats?

My vote is on Nick Saban never beating an Auburn team with 9+ wins.

My vote is on Auburn only winning more than 8 games 3 times in the last 11 years.

To be fair Auburn is not giving Saban a whole lot of chances to get this monkey off his back lately.

I do love this thread though. It’s now gone from Auburn fans bragging about being .333 against Alabama to Auburn fans crowing about sticking it to Saban by sucking most years. This is great.

Guys don’t let 9 straight top-12 classes fool you. Auburn only signs scrappy overachievers and are relatively devoid of raw talent

The fact that Saban has lost to Auburn one out of every three times is mind blowing . Auburn fans are not bragging, but they can not understand that stat. The fact during that period AU has had three separate periods of total dysfunction and yet still recovered enough to beat Saban soon after is more remarkable. UT has been dysfunctional and has lost 11 straight. LSU has been dysfunctional and has lost 6 straight. Again, not bragging but how has AU done it?

Six chances lol. So you want to see more 9+ win Auburn teams so you can see how many more chances Saban needs to beat 9 win Auburn. I agree.

Well UT is a disaster, so that explains that one.

LSU? LOL. There is no reasonable explanation there, except Auburn doesn't play or coach scared against Alabama and LSU does.

If I was a Gus apologist (which I am not), I would point to the stat that as AU HC he has beaten the #1 Team on average every two years. I do not think Dabo can say that.

Isnt it crazy the lack of self awareness in the first post. They go with the same “some years mean more than others, only when we’re good” schtick when talking to UGA fans.
