Auburn had a defensive back throw for nearly 500 yards on Saban in 2013 didn't he?

Yes. In a game that bama led by 19 with 30 seconds remaining

Just looked it up. A&M had a midget on coke throw for over 460 yards in 13.

-LSU has 2 since the dynasty started not too mention 2 games where Bama escaped by the closest of margins -Ole Miss 2 wins and a really close call -Texas A&M has a win and 2 close calls despite having 5 less chances -South Carolina has won 50% -Georgia has 2 close calls despite only having only 1/4 of the chances

Close games count now?

Feels appropriate in a thread where an arbitrary timeframe is established to chest-thump about a 33% winning percentage

But the close ones don’t count for Auburn?

Auburn can stick a feather in their hats and crow about that 33% winning percentage against Saban. What I fail to understand is why the AU fans are ready to send Gus’ arse out on a rail every damn year?

Of course. The 2009 game was as close as any

Because a lot of our fan base sucks. They don't know who would be better and don't care how it hurts recruiting.

Didn’t Bama had just scored prior? AU led going to the 4th. fricking Ellis Johnson.

Did any of them have 630 yards of Offense against him?

Nobody brags about a game in which they were down 20 pts with 30 seconds left quite like you guys

We lost the game but AU was leading going into the 4th, so don’t act like it was a 20 point lead for an extended period

Thats fine and well, and nobody would call it a blowout........but bragging about it is......well, it's something.

Kevin Steele gave up just about as many last year with a bunch of NFL guys on the defensive front.

Ellis didn't have anything to work with. A sophomore Monty Adams and......Ladarius Owens? Cassanova McKinzey? Trovon Reed? Jonathan Mincy? Not a lot of NFL dudes in that starting unit in 2014.

What’s worse bragging you played well against a top team or blaming the loss of the other team cheating?

Not bragging, just wonder how a team of no talent players could run up the yardage against the Masterminds of College Football's Best Defense (Saban/Smart). How a converted DB could pass against a secondary directly coached by the Masterminds of College Football's Best Defense. Not bragging, actually countering the bragging of all the Bama Fans prior.

Ellis Johnson cost AU two chances to win NCs. Nobody could slow AUs Offense down except Ellis's Defense. It wasn't effort/talent as much as it was schemes and coaching.

That would be E, because D would be the coach playing favorites and not playing the best QB.

I don’t know. How does FCS Georgia Southern rush for 400 yards against a defense that had probably 16 draft picks of the 2-deep roster? shite happens
