I think Florida, Virginia Tech, Miami, and maybe another school participated.
Florida's was the absolute worst of those bunch. Could you imagine being Georgia and losing to those god awful jerseys?

it's definitley the power rangers. The 09 UF uni isn't good, but it at least is styled in our traditional format just with the color scheme all fricked up. Hell, change teh ehlmets to red instead of balck and that's the same uni we wore in the '97 outback bowl against wisconsin.
Teh boise unis though...oof. Nothign about them says UGA at all. Poor colors, piss poor design, just terrible. Absolutely awful.
And on the topic of UF, the gator skin abomination gets all the headlines but in 05 they wore a top with differen color sleeves that doesn't get near as much hate as it should:

These were pretty bad. Graident numbers/helmets. Shoulder lightning bolts. Mesh patch on the stomach that changed shades with sweat. Weird nike collar thing. Half stripe on the pants leg. Only thing they got right with these was the logo.

Grey camo pants are awful. Hated the garnet CAROLINA font on the front, could barely even see it. Just terrible.

Literally nobody bought those. Nike has tried everything in their power to get Bama on board. THey did this and did a houndstooth in the number that you couldn't see more than 3 feet away and nobody bought them. I remember walking into a Hibbetts and seeing the houndstooth collars on sale for 19.99 when they started at 85.00. Same with the 2010 invisible houndstooth numbers. Still won't see one to this day. Nike lost millions producing those for the general public.
Nike finally pretty much said in 2013 they weren't gonna bother asking any more and we were more than fine with it.
The most iconic uniform at any level of football is fine as it is.

I actually don’t mind the houndstooth collar. Nike knew they had to make it a subtle change.
