Will the REC speak on special items to look for in LSWho? games?

This season will be interesting.

I've heard they're voting to kick LSU out of the conference and replace them with the more successful football programs at Tulane or James Madison.

Kiffin is drawing a lot of attention to himself. Wonder what will come of it?

Right after they hired TPear too.

So Alabama and Texas will tell us all what to think? Also, if there is no "competitive break away", doesn't that mean the same as acting in charge but not really (means NCAA is still in charge)? Sounds like a one legged duck.

Well in order for there to be conference only governance, you need enforceable rules, which doesn't seem particularly likely at the moment.

If they vote to withhold LSU’s TV money how will that impact the private equity deal that LSU is exploring?

Do you remember when the LSU fans here celebrated Pear giving LSU, the SEC and the NCAA the finger? Remember how they claimed nothing would happen, that nothing could happen? And then…

quote:

Former LSU and current McNeese State basketball coach Will Wade received a two-year show-cause order from the NCAA.

Penalty Details

Duration: The two-year show-cause order ran from June 22, 2023, until June 22, 2025, and has now expired.

Suspension: He also served a 10-game suspension at the start of the 2023-24 season.

Violations: The Independent Accountability Resolution Process (IARP) penalized him for three Level I violations, which included making impermissible payments, failing to cooperate with investigators, and failing to promote an atmosphere of compliance during his time at LSU.

I think that's the point. You might have your cart in front of the horse. An SEC ticket sure is valuable. If its rules were uniquely enforceable, might get some baws' behavior back in line.

And at this pivotal moment, we're stuck with Sankey.

this is top 5 dumbest things I've read on this board. Just about tied with Bama fans calling for Nick Saban's job every year.
