Someone also died outside the stadium after the game during a fight.

Wasn't someone run over and killed as well? Like truck tire to head?

Yeah that's what I'm referring to.

If I remember correctly, Bama fan and Gamecock fans fought. During the scuffle, Gamecock fan #1 somehow runs over Gamecock fan #2 and killed him. I think Gamecock fan #1 was convicted and sent to prison.

Still hard to believe Bama lost that.

Not really, USC did a great job against Bama in 2009. It took some key defensive stops and a herculean effort by Mark Ingram from the wildcat to put it away.

How the hell can you go an entire decade without playing a team supposedly in your own conference?

Auburn and USC have only played once since then. 2011. How does USC keep dodging the best two teams in the west

Weird, I’m listening to the morning guys on 107.5 and they literally just started talking about this very game

How Bama lost three games that year is beyond me, half the two deep was made up of current or future first-team AA. IIRC in the history of the sport only the 2001 Miami Hurricanes had more future draft picks on one roster.

This is one of the few games in Saban's tenure where I felt like we just got beat the whole game. There were other game where teams made plays to win, but that was just a game-long loss by Bama.

2010 was Nick Saban’s worst coaching job at Alabama. That might’ve been the all-around most talented team he’s had, they just seemed very complacent and appeared to lack focus at times.

I agree. One of the few times that complacency crept into a team of his...also, with all the talent, he didn't seem to have anyone to step us as real team leaders.

I felt like that after I watched it. But after going back to Youtube and re-watching, we just weren't there mentally. We had no reason to lose that game. We just didn't show.

Garcia beat us. I cannot remember a QB playing that well in comparison to their normally shown skill set. Not that Garcia was bad - not at all - but he was en fuego all freaking game long.
